Everything can be configured exactly how you like a podcast app to function. Or just use it the way it Is. Very configurable with many options that can be set as default and each podcast can have its own unique settings also. Excellent app - work well and has very nice user interface.

Does everything a podcast app should do and none of the things you wish it didn’t. Worth every penny. Thank you.

It works but the UI leaves a lot to be desired. For instance, you have to click three buttons to get to a search field. A step down from Apple Podcasts.

Came back to Downcast after the rewrite of another popular podcast player made theirs too complicated. Downcast is simple and yet at the same time offers many options for the advanced user. Simple to set up playlists. Works great. Easy to lock episodes if you want to keep some archived. Just works great. Thank you!

I think Downcast is the best podcatcher for iPhone. No recurring subscription, no banner ads, no podcast marketing.

Been a user since 2012. I am a heavy podcast listener, this is the best app I’ve ever come across.

After the latest Podcasts app update ruined it for me, I purchased Downcast. It is so terrific I am kicking myself for waiting so long. This does everything I wanted the Podcasts app to do and more things I never even thought of. It is so customizable that it must certainly be able to accommodate everyone's needs. THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS APP!!! I am 100% convinced this is the best app I have ever purchased.
