Great app for podcast listening
I found the Apple supplied podcast tool deficient in a number of areas and downcast filled the gap. Been using it for years now. Fully functional and easy to use. I am constantly listening while on the move, whether in the car or walking. This app is under rated for the value it supplies in daily use.

Does the job unfailingly well... would get five stars, but for the inability to create playlists.

Brilliant. Really cool
Great for Podcasts
Nothing really beats it. Four stars because the sync with desktop always seems br0k3N and the Chromecast support is woeful, but otherwise the app is brilliant. Try it, you won't be dissapointed.
You will love it!
I tried other podcast apps and always come back to Downcast. It is regularly updated and fully featured.
Everything you need and...
...everything you didn't know you wanted in a podcast app; sleep timer, 30sec skip forward to miss the advertising, etc.
