## Drive Go Description
Drive Go is New Zealand’s only official app that will help you learn to drive a car. It uses the latest smartphone technology to help you learn the driving skills needed to pass your restricted test and be a good driver.

If you don’t have your learner licence yet, visit www.drive.govt.nz for everything you need to get your learner licence, including free practice tests.

As I fill out my license details and press sign up i’m not able to proceed with the app. it says “oops something went wrong” etc, i’ve tried deleting and re-downloading the app and restarting my phone several time but despite this i get the same response each time. I was looking forward to using this app however i’m unable to do so.

Driving during night time is not working therefore im unable to progress to platinum. I tried twice in one night, first time was from 8:30pm amd second time was 11:30 to 12:15 and still nothing, nor does it show up in the weather conditions where it says fine, foggy etc.

This was great to figure out where to start teaching our kids to drive. The smart technology to recognise where we had traveled  was great when it came to tracking their progress. Unfortunately longer drives to a long time to sync (days) and often did not sync at all, meaning some longer drives across country were never recorded. We probably lost 10-20 hours of driving practice with the sync issue which was a real shame. We got to the point where it wasn’t worth using the app for bigger drives. This also seemed to be an issue a few years ago so not much development in relation to this particular issue. For shorter lessons and working on a few skills at a time this app is great.

I just downloaded the app and finished signing up and I am stuck on the "completed to sign up" achievement. I’ve pressed continue and then it just plays again, I’ve closed the app and reopened it for it to play it again. I’ve deleted and redownload the app and it still plays the same thing.

this app is really useful and the videos are helpful, my only reason for the reduction in rating is that there is a bug that causes all of the videos to have no sound, despite the mute button not being pressed.

It’s a really useful app, but some of the speeds in certain places are inaccurate. A cool feature would be to show on a map where you drive. Something that could be fixed is making the discard session button smaller and further away from the end session button. It’s too easy to accidentally discard a session, which is super frustrating, especially if it is a really long one. Maybe even say are you sure you want to discard the session before it is entirely erased?

It is very helpful for learning the skills and keeping track of where you’re at in your learning. However, whenever I have a driving session that’s 1 hour or longer, it takes a really long time to sync the data, sometimes it even loses that data if I don’t keep checking in on it, which is a bit annoying. I’ve lost quite a few sessions like that after a lesson with my instructor.

This is a problem with a couple app like the McDonald’s app both app take a really long time to open about 30 sec, this is a problem as before a drive you have to wait for the app to start, in recent weeks McDonald’s has fix it a bit to under 10 seconds. Just taking a long time to start and replaying the animation 4 or 5 times before opening the app.😊
