Drops – The Rain Alarm is an iOS app to do with one of the favourite talking points: the weather. More particularly the rain. Its sole task is to let you know when the rain is about to start, albeit with a bit of warning, in your area. Or anywhere else you’d like to know about.
 
Drops – The Rain Alarm can tell you at a glance exactly when it will rain up to two hours in advance. With down-to-the-minute forecasts, you’ll know exactly when the rain will start or stop, right where you're standing.
 
What Drops – The Rain Alarm offers you:
- Receive down-to-the-minute alerts before it starts raining at your exact location!
- An accurate precipitation forecast for the next two hours
- An interactive rainfall radar map
- Extensive 14-day weather forecast

Wow, today I found out about how much cookies and personal information the app demands from you (spanning from multiple social media) just to show you relevant adds. The worst part of all, drops wants to share your information with dozens  other corporations and 3rd parties giving you nothing in return. 

This is a simple yet efficient weather app and I am really pleased with it as a function. I would have gone subscription any day instead of this OUTRAGEOUS demand to share our personal data.
