You must own a Synology NAS or NVR to run this app, and be running the latest Surveillance Station 9.2.0 to get the complete set of features.
DS cam makes it possible to monitor and receive alert notifications from all your surveillance cameras set up on a Synology DiskStation. Smart features such as PTZ, patrols or lens control allow for perfect control of your cameras in real-time, while advanced filters make it easy to pinpoint any specific event from large lists of recordings. You can even perform all essential management tasks, from disabling a camera to unlocking and deleting a snapshot.

I’m running the app on a iphone 12 max pro and an ipad pro 2019. On both of them when using the app, the IOS is freezing and the device restarts itself.

Good app but no Apple TV version

The iPhone version is good, but there's no way to use the service on Apple TV which very conveniently forces one to buy their own hardware for monitoring the feeds which is insane for home users. Ubiquity found a way to port their Unifi Protect app on Apple TV.

The new version of the application added the possibility to get the left sidebar menu with a swipe from left to right. This is problematic when you have the camera zoomed (instead of panning the image the sidebar is activated). Please fix this. Other than this, the application is running great.

Ich habe mittlerweile 13 Kameras angebunden und bin im großen und ganzen zufrieden. Mir fehlt allerdings noch die PIP Funktion, damit ich eine Kamera kontinuierlich verfolgen kann, auch wenn ich zwischendurch mal eine andere App aufrufe.

Sehr gute App, deutlich besser als Qnap

Ich bin von Qnap auf Synology umgestiegen. Ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Übersicht in der App und durch die „Ereignisse“ kann man sehr gut suchen. Dazu bisher keine Stabilitätsprobleme und auch von Außen mit VPN ein klasse Aufbau. Eingesetzt werden bei uns 1x 8MP und 7x 4MP IPCams von Dahua.
