This is the most brilliant app I discovered in years. Once setup well it works great and creates such a peaceful sleek look. Take your time setting it up and you will love it.

Dumbify does exactly what you want it to do: make your homescreen less distracting and more straightforward. For me, Dumbify is a huge help in my pursuit to a more focused life! The developer responds very quickly. Within the app are clear instruction manuals and videos to help you get started. After using it for a few days I can already say that it is well worth the price. I’m never going back.

Why is this not aimed at productivity? Like why can I add the Temu app but not Notion. Why can I add the Starbucks app but not any to-do app that isn’t Apple’s Reminders app

I like the app, it reduces distractions. You can do quite a lot when also combined with siri shortcuts and focus modes to make your phone usage very intentional. Is it also possible to have a full dark / black background instead of the grey background?

The app works as it’s supposed to, and it works incredibly well for me. No distractions, but still the option to use certain apps when necessary (what a dumb phone can’t do). I’d like some more apps to be added, but you can add many yourself already and even request certain apps. Developer seems very active and responsive, much appreciated! Works as good as competitor apps (if not better) and I love the non-subscription, one time payment. Thanks a lot!!

Take control back of your digital life. Add app, turn off notifications, take back control of you attention.

My only suggestion would be a clear widget to show a picture on the background. I mainly have my cats in the background and would love to keep it. But besides that is good.

Dumbify has a great asset on my phone, I love it! It has helped minimize the distractions that can often come from a smartphone. I’m hoping that there are plans to tweak the background color settings a bit to accommodate for the iOS 18 customization updates that have pushed out (Light vs. Dark mode).
