I really like this game. But the loot system is atrocious. I had double enhanced loot traits on all 4 characters. Plus I used all bestiary soul stones to max bonus loot. But still I got no loot or common garbage from drops. Best group is a team of mages each mastering a different element. Arm them with Wands and shields. Strength is useless as loot is useless by level 8. Intelligence every level will boost wand damage and you just run over everything. Cheesy yes. But compared to swinging trash weapons. It’s far more fun.

This is definitely a pay to play game. Your initial storage is so small and the battles get so hard so fast you burn through health potions, which are very expensive. You can’t gear up fast enough. Disappointing, because I felt the game had so much promise

Was looking for a non gacha turn based rpg(not a fan of sliding my fingers around). Slightly disappointment when I saw I had to move about,  it I pushed past it and am happy I did.  So far game is great for me, just left the initial dungeon. I’m excited to continue. Great game so far, scratched the itch .

### ***** "Satisfying RPG/dungeon crawler"
Like the old school Wizardry series, assemble a party, crawl through dungeons, explore towns and outdoors and try to stay alive. Action is turned based during encounters and can be affected by how you run into the adversaries, surprise the enemy, or be ambushed. Exploring the environments is fun and finding new items and opening chests is done by way of touching the items on screen; examples: skeletons of the dead, barrels, urns and chests. Good mood setting background music with animations that are clean and visually appealing. One thing I found useful is that there is a section of the store where you can watch videos for rewards as opposed to being in game. This is one of those games where your next turn can be danger. Hearing footsteps of your adversaries is also quite unnerving overall great game and I highly recommend it to those who enjoy this type of first person party adventure.

### ****- "Great game but horrible bits"
So, a lot of what the game offers is quite enjoyable. However, there are a few MASSIVELY poor choices that seem so odd? 

1) When you get to skeletons, there is a HUGE jump in difficulty that quickly drains the player of healing potions. You could heal in town, except that has a MASSIVE cost just to heal your team (worst town heal I have ever seen in a game).

2) The inventory is incredibly small for the amount of little things you need to pick up and hold on to, and obviously that’s a trick to push players into buying more storage space, which is lame but whatever.

3) Acquiring new spells costs an INCREDIBLY high cost. I am level 12, spending every coin I’ve ever earned to get 1 new spell for 1 character. There needs to be more of a gradient on this. Basic spells shouldn’t be costing so much. I have 200 points into spell types I still haven’t been able to use because of spellbook cost. Utterly ridiculous.

4) Ambushing an enemy should be advantageous to the player. Instead, you are actually at a disadvantage when ambushing, because after your turn it allows the npcs 2 back-to-back rounds of attacks. This is a horrible design that disincentivizes ambushes. You’re better off being ambushed yourself than you are ambushing an enemy. Dumb.

5) Weapon damage seems incomprehensible. Weapons that do tiny damage are doing more than weapons 5 levels higher that display twice as much stat damage. Please provide a more calculated prediction of damage based on player stats and type.

6) Buff/debuff spells are poorly balanced. Spending a whole turn to provide 1/4 of your characters with 20% more armor is in no way beneficial to the player. Even pretending 20% more armor was 20% dmg reduction, you would still be spending an entire turn to potentially reduce net damage by 5%. In actuality it is even less. Useless. Spells that are inherently useless show bad game development. Make sure every spell has a USEFUL purpose, even if only in specific situations.

The best part of the game is the quests and secret rooms/puzzles.

This game is fun and straightforward. Duskfall is reminiscent of older fps rpgs. Solid progression with a few side quests and optional mini-games. So far, the only feature that irritates me is the inventory. Space is limited and expanding it requires premium currency which (so far) cannot be earned during gameplay, only through watching ads or using real money. It takes days of ad watching to earn inventory upgrades, though. Overall, however, I do recommend this game.
