Whenever I go birding I alway use the app, it’s excellent. When I travel across the world I use it, also and when I travel I check hotspots to see what I’m likely to see. Best of all it’s free, great work and thank you

App won’t connect with immediate “safari can’t open connection lost” error when connection is fine.

Download uk version but it’s not got the correct British names eg. Tundra swan instead of bewick’s swan, …

Been a great resource for me last couple of years but now keeps crashing. Needs another update pronto!

Rare to find an app that works properly and exceeds expectations. Use eBird alongside Merlin which is designed to complement it

These two apps together are amazing for amateur and professional birders. Just one tiny thing - I accidentally added a bird to my Lifelist in the wrong part of the world. I can neither delete or edit the entry! Keep up the fantastic work. So much help for bird conservation everywhere!!!

It’s a good app but my boyfriend loves it more than me. That’s fine, he is after all an ornithologist, but I’m just warning any birder girlfriends out there that your man is about to be texting bird notes more than he texts you (satire, I’m excited to get on the hype and use it myself).

I’m experiencing 2 big problems since upgrading - the language used on checklists is American English Ben though I select British English - location tracking seems to drop sometimes (though maybe this is an issue with my phone). If this happens then the in progress checklist allows me to keep adding birds but the app crashes whenever I try to assign a location to the checklist, even if I delete the path data. iOS 16.1.1 iPhone 8 Ebird 2.15.6/(2.15.22)

Previously no issues with eBird but today tried to open and cannot access on my iPad. Just shows eBird Cornell first page then shuts down. What is the problem and how do I fix it.

App sometimes, when it works, is good and convenient; however, it is unreliable. A number of times (maybe 7 to 10 times over past 2 to 3 months, it fails, not allowing me to start a checklist. As soon as I click on checklist link, the app quits. I’ve tried closing the app, shutting off phone and restarting only to have the problem continue. I find it incredibly frustrating when I’m out in the field and the app simply won’t work.
