No updates in two years?! Resting on the laurels of Five Star Reviews from five years ago or have just run out of gas? The ability to alter text size and light/dark display are given now. This Reader app fails miserably.

Im sorry to say this app is meh. It’s too basic, it pretty much only opens the file. The features are very limited. It doesn’t have an option to scroll, to change font style or line spacing. There is also no option to change background and font colour other than dark mode (not so helpful. It also takes time to load the next page. It’s really unfortunate that this is the only app that can easily read ebooks purchased from ebooks.com.

### **--- "Not my favourite book app"
I want to like this. But there’s too many annoying issues. Why is the leading on the type so tight? I mean there’s barely any space at all between lines and no way to adjust it. I get a headache from eye strain after just a few pages. Adjusting font size is useless, one click up is massive and one down is almost illegible. 
My screen also turns off half way through a page unless I’m constantly tapping it which is extremely annoying. I have 2 other book apps and I don’t have these issues with either. 2 stars until improvements are made… I’d much prefer Libby or Kindle, but alas… many books aren’t available there

I made some copies that weren't working and tried deleting them to keep my library organized. However, they never went away even after several amounts of restarting and repetition of deleting. I do like using this apps because of it's features but this was annoying since if I tried to come back to the book I would have difficulties about which copy to choose.

Opens with none of my synched books showing and then crashes if I tap on any button or attempt to search. I've used this app for years on my iphone without trouble. I am travelling and wanted books on my ipad for a better reading experience, but I'm clearly out of luck. Please fix this problem!

Got books through a conference which can only be read or downloaded on this reader… used to Kindle and Apple Books reader. Does not seem to do next page correctly… tap on right side and on the book I’m reading it doesn’t always register like I’m at the end of the book or something… when a scroll past… if I accidentally press the edge it actually goes back to where it thinks the end is even several pages later. Very annoying to read this way… wish we could just upload the epubs to Apple Books or sync with Kindle reader

App is great, love the bookshelf layout and it’s super easy to add books to it. Only issue is, when I try and delete book files from my library, they disappear, when i close the app and reopen it, the files are there again. I have deleted them in my files app so they shouldn’t have reinstalled. Please fix this!

I do not like using this app for reading books. It does not keep my place when I have put a bookmark. If I touch the wrong place on the page, it will forward me to the next chapter, but when I go back to the previous chapter where I had been, it does not go to the place where I was last reading. Instead, it goes back to the beginning of the previous chapter. I find this app extremely frustrating when wanting to pick up a book to read on the go.

If you do, this seems to be the only option. Trying to even get the menu up in the book feels like trying to perform some mysterious magical trick that works SOMETIMES and very rarely. Then trying to figure out how to get it on another device….. I’m not particularly skilled at these things but I have never had this much trouble. The instructions appear to be completely useless.

Type is too small for comfortable reading.  Using the font size control has no effect on it.  Changing the font had no effect.  I contacted ebooks and they recommended I switch to Bluefire Reader.  It was a good app, but now ebooks won't download to Bluefire.  Going to give up on ebooks.com altogether soon - not responsive to problems.

As an older reader, I’d have preferred a more book-like format that allowed for a brighter screen and bigger margins around the edges. But despite these minor inconveniences, I could still read what I bought!
