## Elders Weather App Description
Elders Weather provides detailed Australian weather information using data from the Bureau of Meteorology and other trusted sources Designed to support practical decisions across regional, rural and everyday settings, the app gives you reliable forecasts, observations and weather insights wherever you are.
Elders, a leading Australian agribusiness, understands the importance of having accurate and regularly updated weather information at your fingertips. With more than 2,000 Australian locations, key international locations and the ability to save up to 10 favourites, Elders Weather makes it easy to check the places that matter most to you.
The free app includes current weather conditions, 7-day forecasts, the next 48 hours with hourly or 3-hourly breakdowns, local and national radar, observation history, moon phases, tides where relevant, weather warnings, Delta-T, dew point, sunrise and sunset times, minimum and maximum temperatures, chance and amount of rain, wind and gusts, national satellite, 7-day synoptic charts, Global Forecast System forecasts, rain forecast maps and radar maps with pause and play functionality.
Current conditions include temperature, dew point, Delta-T, feels like temperature, relative humidity, wind, gusts, pressure, rain since 9am, rain in the last 10 minutes, local warnings, past 24-hour temperature and wind gusts, plus nearby locations. The 7-day forecast includes minimum and maximum temperatures, rain chance and amount, district forecasts, 9am and 3pm wind forecasts, frost risk, UV Index, and sunrise and sunset times.
The next 48-hour forecast helps you plan ahead with temperature, wind direction and speed, rain chance and intensity, dew point and Delta-T. Map features include national, state and local radars with play, pause and zoom functions, national satellite, 7-day synoptic charts, Global Forecast System 0–7 and 8–14 day rain forecast maps, and NINO3.4 and Southern Oscillation Index information.
You can personalise the app by choosing your preferred units for temperature, wind speed, rainfall and measurements, setting an alarm inside the app, and enabling push notifications for a range of weather parameters. Selected personalisation features are available with the Silver Subscription.
The Elders Weather App is free to download and use, with the option to upgrade to Silver Subscription for AUD$2.99 per year. Silver Subscription gives you access to advanced push notifications, 28-day rain forecasts, 12-month district rain forecasts, longer observation history, extra radar layers and lightning information on national radar.
Silver Subscription is an annual membership that lasts 12 months from the date of purchase. Payment is charged to your Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the current membership price. Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in Account Settings after purchase; however, the active subscription period will continue until the end and cannot be refunded or cancelled mid-term.
The Elders Weather App is owned by Elders Rural Services Australia and uses Bureau of Meteorology data and Weatherzone meteorologists to produce accurate forecasts for Australia and the world. More information about data sources is available at

Hello to the Elders boffins….
I love your app. It’s almost exactly the way I would want my weather app served up.
Well laid out, highly functional, fit for purpose & easy to use.
I ask just 2 things…
Please get your National weather Radar Satellite fixed. Because it only shows Victoria at present and I’m tired of emailing you lot and getting no response.
Also, Please add local lightning as a layer/option for a reasonable subscription annually…not monthly like your weatherzone offering. I would gladly pay a reasonable annual fee for local lightning.

Ive been paying for silver subscription and now it wont work! Keep getting 'we know its an issue' but nothing has been done for months to fix it!! I would like to know how much money this app has taken from people and not providing the service that is agreed apon! FIX IT ELDERS 😡

I have used this app for a number of years and found it quite good until in the last 12 months when the auto renew subscription feature renewed my subscription but the app wont allow me access to the paid features

App ok but inconsistent somedays forecasts for rain are for only a few days sometimes up to a month. My national radar reduces in size over time from national to Victoria only. Only way to correct it is to delete app and reload. I rely on weather tracking for farming but cannot rely on this one alone.

I’ve had this weather app for years (as I’m on the land) and have found it very helpful, how ever….. I have always paid for the silver access but this year they have taken my money and denied me access???? I’ve checked everything reloaded the app asked for help twice and nothing. Right at hay season when I need it most they disappear with my money and no help. My advice BEWARE

Not too many unnecessary bells and whistles like most weather apps have, very accurate, easy to use and customer support the once I needed them were excellent.
