Element Note

I just got an iPad and I tried all the “popular note taking apps” but I wasn’t satisfied with the way my handwriting turned out it was always messy even tho I knew it wasn’t my handwriting itself it never appealed to me. But this app! I’m so glad I found it it’s a hidden gem! Writing on this app with my pencil is soooo smooth and my writing is exactly how I write on an actual paper I love that it glides smoothly and doesn’t glitch I just got the pro version and I’m so happy thank you I hope this app gets the recognition it deserves 🤍 Hi 👋 so far it’s good however my fonts change automatically back to the original font even tho I changed it it’s kind of annoying cause it ruins the words I highlighted. And when I write with the pencil sometimes it writes way to boldly (I’m applying no pressure) even tho my setting is only set to 0.9 it gives me uneven words some letters are too bolded than others ANOTHER UPDATE; nov 4 2024 this lags a lot , even the eraser lags like crazy then the app shuts down… plzzz fix this this is my favourite app for university plsss

This is an amazing app, but it lacks a lot of key features that I would need in order to make the switch from GoodNotes. For example, there is no PDF outline viewe, no way to copy/paste screenshots from a PDF file with the lasso tool, and no scribble-to-erase. These are critical tools that I use every day. Also, GoodNotes supports barrel roll for the fountain pen and Apple Pencil pro, and you can customize the pens in GoodNotes, such as the tip shape of the fountain pen. Once this app has a few more of the key features of more mature handwritten notes apps, I will definitely be making the switch from GoodNotes.

I felt uncomfortable when I write down something, there is a pause which look like a paste to the paper. I hope the whole process is like using a “real” paper.

I like it a lot, but I’m sad that there isn’t any choice of font.😕

This app is my favourite note taking app, its the only app I could find that has the fountain pen option. Makes my printing so beautiful, love all of the options I can use for note taking like the highlighting, stickers, adding my own pdf’s etc. definitely recommend 10/10

was all good til after 1 month of use. all the functions freeze after 1 click

It was working completely fine until a month ago, it keeps freezing and nothing it working properly. I spent so long making notes on it just for it not to work. Please fix this.

Great app for notes, but does not safe any pictures added. At first looked like everything works. When app is closed and reopened it doesn’t show any pictures any more.

Nicely done: simple, clean, and no featuritis. Reminds me of GoodNotes before they lost their way (sorry, I don't need AI to read, fix, or correct my HANDWRITTEN notes...). One thing however: search is completely broken for me. Not a huge deal for now, but I'm hoping this gets fixed at some point. For the record, Notes, Notability, and GoodNotes can all search or convert my handwriting without issues (despite it being pretty horrible). Happy to have found this. Looking forward to how the app evolves.
