I’ve used Email for years, but I recently found an unknown extension in Safari for iPad called “shop - mail” that offers coupons. After much investigation, I found that the app Email had installed this extension without my knowing. The only way to delete the extension was to delete the Email app, which I did posthaste. You’ve been warned.
Email app often requests for login credentials for no reason and now is not updating any sent/received. It is getting worse over the years.
I’ve tried most of the email apps in the App Store and Edison Mail is the best. It’s simple, straightforward, intuitive, and doesn’t crowd the space with offers or ads. Download it
I can’t say enough about the support from Edison. They promptly answer email about the problem and offer solutions. If they need further clarification they are quick to respond.
Exceptional love the app
Edison Email is one of the most user-friendly and fastest email app I've come across. Its visually appealing design, intuitive interface, and structured layout make it an outstanding choice for managing my emails.
I was using Edison for years both on Android and iOS. Recently the app started failing. The messages wouldn't load if opened from a notification. The inbox listing wouldn't update despite the notifications about new emails. When I contacted support, they told me to remove, reinstall and set up the client again. It helped only for a few days. When I responded, that the issue appeared again, the support told me to repeat the same steps. I don't see the point in wasting my time trying the same thing multiple times. Guess it's time to find an alternative. Too bad. Your poor support just cost you a very faithful user who used to recommend Edison to other people.
