Endel: Focus, Sleep, Relax

I don’t use all the features. I do love this app. I have ADD/ADHD. One time purchase with all the updates. Things id like to see … “colored noise” option. I’d like the sound mixer, the mix I really like and helps me relax doesn’t increase in volume. In the square shaped sound mixer, It’s located in the bottom left corner of the square where you mix the sounds yourself.y volume is all the way up and the sound isn’t very loud. One other things I’d like is for the app designers to add BILATERAL beats where the sounds bounce form one ear to the other without any added background sound within both speakers. This helps me in many ways Thank you for this app. I need to use it more. I always forget about it.

This app has been completely ruined by the addition of dozens of useless, unlabeled icons. It’s a complete waste of time trying to figure out what each one does, forcing you to tap around aimlessly just to find basic functions. What used to be a good app is now an absolute mess. This is beyond frustrating, and I refuse to waste any more time or money on it. I will not be renewing my subscription when it ends next month. Terrible design choices have turned this app into garbage.

Subscription app. You click through a bunch of pages for a survey aka profile and then it brings you to the prompt for which subscription you would like to pay or a few day trial. Deleted Wish Apple when an app is subscription based only or move it to their subscription based arcade section

There is far too much motion in the UI and the app is visually overwhelming for me. It’s particularly disturbing when I can feel the overstimulated state coming on and there’s no way to stop it because the graphic animations keep repeating over and over endlessly. I’m probably in the minority - and maybe there’s even a scientific reason for this approach to the graphics and animation - but this app makes me feel disturbed and unpleasant which seems to be the opposite of its goal? I feel like they are missing a huge opportunity by not asking early on in the app setup whether someone might be visually overstimulated by their approach. I imagine at least some people would benefit from a greatly simplified less stimulating UI. The audio experience itself was promising but it was too visually overwhelming trying to get to the “good” stuff so I gave up. Make this app a very chill and calm visual experience…and I would give it a more serious try.

The amount of times this app breaks is insane for the amount they charge. I already cancelled hoping it would be better by the time I had to renew but it is actually worse. Just going to uninstall the app and save the frustration. I won’t go through all the bugs I have experienced (on an android and now apple device) just the most recent ones: Focus timer no longer works unless it is open and my screen is on. Going home stops all audio from playing and ends the timer. Locking my phone does the same thing. “Color spaces” stop playing if you tune the sound. It just slowly fades to nothing. The app and sounds are fine. All the soundscapes being in one place was a bit overpriced but still acceptable. Add all the bugs constant regression on features that used to work and you are better off saving your money.

Hi Endel Team, I love this app more than you could possibly know. I get weekly notifications saying I’m top 1% of users globally. So yeah. I know how to work this app! I love how thoughtful everything is. It has gotten me thru tough times, good times and just sleeping every single night! Minor request: please keep the UI slim calm cool collected & minimal. I have noticed lots of new features and while I appreciate them I just hope the simplicity of the app is never lost. I do kind of miss the just open and go option without the additional features. Neat idea with the soundscapes app, and I might have considered it in the long run, but the immediate $60 charge when it was supposed to be a free trial turned me off.

That’s “heck” btw. So I am looking at the subscription pricing and WOW so many questions. Why are there upwards of three different prices for the same subscription term? For example, “1 Year” is priced at $120 (4 different entries there), $96, $90, $84, $60 (4 times), $48, $45, $35, $30, and $17. So, are there really TEN different tiers of features or content available? Nothing in any of the descriptions explains this at all. Also, “3 months” is priced higher than several of the “1 Year” selections. Why? What gives? This makes me worry that if I subscribe for 1 Year at $17 then it will renew for $120. Also, please PLEASE knock it off with the $x.99 pricing garbage? Treat your customers with some respect. We’re not THAT gullible or stupid. And even if we are, expect better of people, please.

Wait a minute, the last update really took the app from a 10 to a 1 for me. The “wake up” and “workout” soundscapes in the Activities section were just removed and I paid for the lifetime subscription of the app. The “Commute” scenario was also removed. Yeah, that’s so not fair.
