Endel: Focus, Sleep, Relax

Issue: Users who subscribe the app on website are unable to share the app with other family members. Endel’s website recommend you to sign in your family member’s device using your account as a solution. This is not a feasible solution as each member has a unique Apple ID and during app login, there is no option to choose a secondary Apple ID to sign in the app. Endel should enable users to inter-connect their Apple ID, Facebook and email account so that it enables subscriber’s family members to use the app with their own device. Pls look into this.

It doesn’t matter if I run or I focus… the music is the same, no changes in tonality, rithm, percussion, base. I could fillet a fish or writing scripts or running a marathon… this is the same music you get in spas. Waste of money

I’ve been using this for the past 3 weeks and I find myself only using the focus and sleep options which has been really helpful. I tried the AI version for sleep time but I found it made me a bit more awake and the slight ring made me jump in anticipation of my baby crying. I love the clean look and very cute astronomy based graphics but would really love it much more for maybe just a tad more option on sleep which I read is up and coming. I did find myself trying to read up more on how the AI works so I can maybe ensure I can help make it work better for me but the app is so clean that I don’t get many options for settings to begin with. So I would appreciate if I could have more ways to customise it. For example some nights I may stay late and I’m worried the AI may take that into consideration. Overall I love the app! I have actually used the sleep function to help my toddler try and get to sleep to. Seem to help!

I both love and despise this app. It helps me a great deal to focus. But when I put it on deep work and try to focus for 30 minutes, the app keeps pausing the sound. I have to keep stopping my work to press play again. Don’t understand why it does this.

I don’t use all the features. I do love this app. I have ADD/ADHD. One time purchase with all the updates. Things id like to see … “colored noise” option. I’d like the sound mixer, the mix I really like and helps me relax doesn’t increase in volume. In the square shaped sound mixer, It’s located in the bottom left corner of the square where you mix the sounds yourself.y volume is all the way up and the sound isn’t very loud. One other things I’d like is for the app designers to add BILATERAL beats where the sounds bounce form one ear to the other without any added background sound within both speakers. This helps me in many ways Thank you for this app. I need to use it more. I always forget about it.

This app has been completely ruined by the addition of dozens of useless, unlabeled icons. It’s a complete waste of time trying to figure out what each one does, forcing you to tap around aimlessly just to find basic functions. What used to be a good app is now an absolute mess. This is beyond frustrating, and I refuse to waste any more time or money on it. I will not be renewing my subscription when it ends next month. Terrible design choices have turned this app into garbage.

Subscription app. You click through a bunch of pages for a survey aka profile and then it brings you to the prompt for which subscription you would like to pay or a few day trial. Deleted Wish Apple when an app is subscription based only or move it to their subscription based arcade section

There is far too much motion in the UI and the app is visually overwhelming for me. It’s particularly disturbing when I can feel the overstimulated state coming on and there’s no way to stop it because the graphic animations keep repeating over and over endlessly. I’m probably in the minority - and maybe there’s even a scientific reason for this approach to the graphics and animation - but this app makes me feel disturbed and unpleasant which seems to be the opposite of its goal? I feel like they are missing a huge opportunity by not asking early on in the app setup whether someone might be visually overstimulated by their approach. I imagine at least some people would benefit from a greatly simplified less stimulating UI. The audio experience itself was promising but it was too visually overwhelming trying to get to the “good” stuff so I gave up. Make this app a very chill and calm visual experience…and I would give it a more serious try.
