Envelopes: Budget Manager

This app is great. It does everything I need to do “digital cash stuffing” (without envelopes and actual cash). I like the clear interface and Quick Deposit feature. I also like the fact that it doesn’t have extra unnecessary features that really just make budgeting apps confusing and overly complicated. My only critique is that the User Guide is a bit long and doesn’t have a search function (from what I can tell) so a search function, FAQ section or app tutorial would be great for the few occasions where I have had questions. Otherwise it does everything I need and has been great for helping get my budget in order!

So simple and easy to use! Only thing I would love it to have, Is to be able to group envelopes in different groups so you can have the balance at top for each group.

Yeah okay it’s pretty nerdy for my favourite app to be a budgeting app, but I’m a budget fanatic and I haven’t been able to find a single app that stacks up to this. I temporarily lost my iPhone and my backup phone wasn’t iOS so I couldn’t use this app for awhile and I my money management went out the window. Thank goodness I got my phone back. In any case, this app is simple, nice to look at, and does its job perfectly. The quick deposit feature is fantastic. Every fortnight when I get paid, I hit the little arrow at the top of the list and all my money goes exactly where I need it to. Brilliant!

This is such a simple premise but so helpful for everyday budgeting. I've been using for years and recommend to all my friends.

I’ve just started budgeting and don’t have a mind for numbers. Other apps are toooo complicated and take too long to use. This one is quick, simple and easy. Most importantly, it has enabled me to track and save enough money to take my family on an overseas holiday in one year. Try it now!!!

It’s taken me so many years of using complicated budget apps with so many useless features! I mean, who needs graphs and reports and spending trackers! Then I found this one. It literally does EXACTLY what I wanted it to do, no more, no less. I have permanent envelopes for my salary each week, and I also create temporary savings envelopes labeled with its purpose... it’s actually fun shuffling funds into them and watching the balance rise! The quick deposit feature is the best. Instead of being forced to set up an automated deposit like in other apps, I can dump my salary at the push of a button as soon as I see my pay in my bank account, so they always stay in sync. Worth the cost.

I have never left a review before but this app is more than worth the time to review it. I have been using the older version of this app for at least two years, it is very easy to use and simple. Exactly what I was looking for when scrolling through to find an envelope budgeting app. I also upgraded today to the newer version and it also will be something I will use on a daily basis. Love the new security features. Don't change this app it's very functional and worth the money. Great for people wanting to stick to a budget. Very user friendly, quickly update spending while on the move. 10 out of 10!

Great simple way to put away money in virtual envelopes for future expenses.

Just what I was looking for when my budgeting program of 25 years stopped working. This envelope system is a no frills way to keep me on track and make sure I don’t over spend. Set up as many envelopes needed to pay bills, spend, and save. One thing I miss is being able to print a summary of the envelope balances, which came in handy when my last budget program crashed, but I can screen shot the envelope list instead.
