Not for ps5
Annoyed they couldn’t make an update so the app would work on ps5… could’ve at least disclosed in their description but being user friendly doesn’t seem to be a priority.

didnt get to play the game via phone regardless that it is expresses as the best experience. Resolved it was the app’s issue with connecting to created hotspot not the device’s and thought, “If gameplay is the same… shut it down now
If you play in your ps5 it doesn’t recognize it
Both my ps5 and phone were on the same wifi, won’t connect. Used the hotspot, got logged in, app won’t connect. Everywhere it says “using the app makes it better.” Maybe have the app work correctly? Now I’m frustrated before I’ve even played a second of the game knowing I’m apparently missing out on the “best experience”. Not a great start.
If having trouble connecting to PS5, make a hotspot and you should be fine. The game is a bit iffy with touching the screen for gestures but it’s still really cool! I would use the app instead of the controller. Pretty unique concept.
What a waste of money
You really need to update the app to work with ps5 because ps4 is an old console and many people are using ps5 now.
No go with ps5, local WiFi or hotspot.
I’m mostly leaving this review as a bit of caution: this app is not compatible when playing Erica on the ps5.
Connect to the hotspot. It’ll prevent disconnection and there’s no lag- compared to just being in the same network. Once I did this it was smooth sailing
