Since the last update , there is an opening screen that says “Eufy built with care” this caused a delay before the camera feeds come up. This is ridiculous as it should go strait to the SECURITY cameras. Come on people !

Changed cameras purely because of the app. The cameras themselves are good quality but the app is the worst app of all security devices I’ve ever used. Can’t go to live view straight from notification and can’t swipe between cameras in live viewing. Slow to get out and change camera by this time who ever I am following is long gone. Unsafe in a break in situation.
Since I update the app all the camera go offline.
Please fix your terms and conditions bug. It’s getting really annoying.
Almost flawless system. Very fairly priced for the quality, so many features and camera resolution. My only complaint is that the app has been crashing and freezing since the new os update. Live cameras won't load when using homebase on " Performance (Beta)" mode. Please address this for the next app updates and thank you for the fantastic product. ☺️🙏🏼💯🎥📹
Had issue connecting to Homebase twice now since updated to the ‘new’ app. This had never happened before in the old version.
The opening screen of the app says “built with care” but the app developers don’t listen to their users when they make changes to the app that makes it less usable than it already was. If you use an iPad then prepare to be disappointed of the ability to utilise the full screen of the iPad vs a phone app. Previously it was possible to display 2 x cameras per line on the device screen, now it’s just one which leave 60% of the iPad screen useless. Eufy developers have no idea of what they are doing and continue to destroy an otherwise good app they previously had to a now pathetic attempt of display usage.
Every time I open the app it makes me accept the “updated terms and conditions” every time. Annoying when there’s an alarm going off and I’m trying to see what the cause is.
Not detecting and recording events less than 4 feet in front of the camera despite sensitivity at the highest level. Despite it being an advertised feature of the system, the geofencing is still only in “beta” testing after 2+ years. As a result, it doesn’t work reliably. Despite the Eufy app having full location access and background refresh enabled (with subsequent battery drain) • system doesn’t arm automatically when all users have left the zone (users must open app and refresh the system feed) • system doesn’t disarm automatically when a user returns home (user must wait outside camera detection zones, open app and refresh system feed; having the app open does not improve performance) • system is known to unexpectedly arm itself despite users being at home, resulting in false alarms • system does not always silence alarm when acknowledging that the system is alerting; there is no easy to access “false alarm” button • when checking an alarm alert, the system may silence the alarm before the user has identified if it is a legitimate security threat or a false alarm
Last few months their software updates keep causing so many issues. First they bricked my doorbell and it would not connect to Homebase 2 again. Lately, my new doorbell and cam 2C are not recording anything. They work but not detecting any motions. So upset by this. Their support has been useless in both occasions saying “issues with devices” but they’ve clearly bricked them. I now have to get rid of all Eufy devices and go with another system.
