## Evo Description
This is the official app for Vancouver’s Best Car Share! Evo is car sharing made for you. It gets you from here to there with room for your friends - gas, insurance, parking and unlimited kms included. Plus, we’ve added e-bikes and e-scooters! The Evo app is your key to everything. Just reserve, unlock and hit the road. Yep, its that easy.


The app lets you:
• Sign up for car, e-bike and e-scooter sharing (have your driver’s license and a credit card on hand to join)
• Find a vehicle 24/7 by checking out the real-time map
• Make or cancel reservations (you can reserve a car up to 30 min in advance or 5 min in advance for e-bikes and e-scooters, all for free) or use Evo Return to make round-trip bookings up to 30 days in advance
• Start, pause, and end trips with the click of a button, or use our handy QR code to start your e-bike or e-scooter trip
• See how much time is left before your reservation expires with the countdown timer
• View all available vehicles on the map or view them in a list
• View vehicle info including location, fuel/charge level, license plate, and distance from you
• Check out parking locations and the Home Zone
• See billing and manage all things to do with your Evo account
• Give us a shout 24/7 for help. Day or night we are here for you!
• Easily refer your friends and earn driving credit
• Stay up to date with in-app and push notifications
• Use radar to set a location, time, and radius to search for an Evo

Back in the day I gave this company my email address and a created a password. That was all I did. No credit card, no house address, license, record check… just my email address and a password. That was 2019. Never used EVO CAR SHARE. 2022 I emailed them to have my account deleted (if I even had one). The reply was that I owed then $4.48 as an annual fee. Until I paid them they wouldn’t delete my account, and would add $2 every year. Do you know why I’m not longer an EVO CARSHARE member? Because I contacted Ad Standards Canada, informing them that a company was acting unethically by hiding FEES under the guise of a ‘FREE’ membership. I’m no longer a member because the DEI Woke teenagers working at EVO needed to hear it from an office in Ottawa that $2/year is not free, and that false advertising is NOT FAIR. Evo lost. I won.

The product itself is amazing, great concept. However the app could use a little work. Including the map functionality. The map is static, which makes navigating to the cars somewhat more difficult than it would be if the map would would with the user like a compass. The button to unlock the car might be considered to be better placed on the app also, so it isn’t so easy to be mistakenly tapped.

Several times I have reserved a car and they are just not anywhere near nearby. Or I can't get into them. I called them. Takes a while to answer. It's late at night. I'm off in the winter. I'm standing out in the rain. They always say oh I'm so sorry but they just can't get it together to make it any better.

I booked twice today and the app canceled my booking, the app make go to the place, took taxi twice to rich the Evo car. Called customer service they said they don’t know what is the issue, they don’t even know the places in B,C. Horrible customer service as always. Number one to charge, but last one providing fear service.

Easily the worst app I’ve ever used. Evo always has technical issues and the app consistently signs you out for no reasons. Even with Car2Go leaving North America, I will never use a Evo again.
