Expenses: Spending Tracker

Excellent minimalist and clean app for recording expenses. I use it to keep track of my monthly household spending. You own your data and there is one time payment tonunlock all features. A few feature requests: - I wish there was a setting that would enable the monthly balance to show on top of the sheet (similar to total balance) and on the widget - I wish there were predictive category suggesting based on the note I write. For example if I write ”K-mart” it would search my previous expenses and suggest category I have used in those.

The only reason for expense tracking is sharing expenses. With this app you can easily log expenses but it does not show how much each person owes. That’s a dealbreaker, on to the next one…

I would like to see subcategories asap.

Exactly what I was looking for — a simple, free app to track expenses and income, with a clean UI too 🤌 One feature I really hope gets added is a filter option. For example, I’d love to filter by specific categories to see how much I’ve spent or earned in that category over a month or year. A clean mobile widget is essential as well — something that lets you quickly add an expense or income with a category, right from the home screen. Like a simple “+” (green) or “−” (red) button on the main widget. When you tap it, it should open a small form to enter the amount, a note, and choose a category — all without opening the full app. It’s like a more lightweight version of the app, and would make it even more useful. I’ll definitely support you in the future 😁 Thanks for creating such a clean and straightforward app!

I hate apps, but I've realized that I don't pay enough attention to how much I spend on a lot of unnecessary things (meaning, usually, that I overspend). I also hate writing reviews, but... Expenses is really proving to be helpful. It's simple to set up, and I can easily add a transaction in the correct category (entertainment, mortgage, groceries, etc.) in less than a minute. And it kind of keeps me mentally more accountable, so I think twice before going shopping out of boredom on Amazon or something, which is great for me. This is the first month I'm using the app. I'm looking forward to getting an overview of my spending in various categories at the end of the month, and making intelligent adjustments for the future. I have a feeling that Expenses will end up saving me a lot of money over time.

This app is a must have for me for the last couple of years. Its simple and quite productive for my use and i love it. But i have one request and that would make it a lot useful for me and others. So instead of having tens or hundreds of sheets in a single window, please add the option to create a folder or custom section for different sheets to be foldered into. For example i would like to make a business A folder where i put all my business A related sheets into that and for my Business B related sheets into Business B folder and my personal or home expense into my custom made Home Expenses folder. That would clear a lot of the clutter between different sheets for different use. Please consider this feature. Thank you

I purchased this app about a year and a half ago on my phone. It would not let me restore the purchase when the app had updates so I’m using the free trial and it would not restore on my other devices as I already paid for it. This is a super annoying issue and I would appreciate if customer support could fix this issue. In the meantime, do not waste your money on this app.

The widget isn’t working which is the main reason I paid for lifetime. It is simple app and user friendly. But after a few sheets you have to pay. & for the widget not to work and still pay is a downgrade

Yea this app is exactly what I was searching for. Other apps out there just make things too complicated, but this one is simple and gets the job done. Plus, it has some really useful features that actually make sense. Also, the user interface is super friendly and makes the whole experience feel so smooth. Love it 5/5
