F1 TV

Using the app all year long - very frequently. Since two weeks the app was persiting me to be updated, cause my version is not supported anymore. But this only occures when the app was minimized or my iPhone switched in sleep-mode. A simple reboot of the app did the job. Cause it was annoying as hell I tried to update it, anyhow in the app-store it was flagged as current version. So I deleted the app and tried to install it again, just to find out that iOS 16 and above is now required. I could damn Apple now that my iPhone 7 is not updated higher than 15.8.3 anymore, or myself for not living with the bug. I damn " **** u a**holes aka F1TV" for locking me out of a function I paid quite a lot of money for the premium account. The could send an email to explain and give advise, no they just took my money. Lesson learned, I will put money in a new phone and NEVER again in F1 TV

There is a known big that you have to constantly re-sign-in with Apple TV. Every race I have to re-type my user/password which is annoying. But what is just ridiculous is that F1 TV is aware of the bug and does not fix it. Also if i re-sign-in more than 6 times my maximum number of devices is reached and I have to login at my desktop to manually remove them. This was my last subscription month.

This app has no picture in picture mode (PiP) nor background only playback. If you e.g. want to at least listen to the commentary while doing something else you’re of luck because the stream stops when you switch out of the app. Also if you switch over to another app briefly you’re out of luck as well. This quite annoying given the price of the subscription.

Ich bin Racing-Fan und mag F1TV sehr. Aber die App ist leider irgendwie verbuggt. Ich muss mich jede Woche neu einloggen, am AppleTV und am Iphone. Manchmal genau bei Rennstart, obwohl ich schon eine halbe Stunde schaue. Habs auch mit QR-code versucht, musste mich aber jetzt nach 1 Woche wieder einloggen.

Once I am another country the live option stops. I would need to purchase a VPN in order to watch it live. Waste of money wish I could get a refund.

Hello, the App is great. But can we get PiP and background playback support?

The stream generally is very poor. If you try to airplay it to a tv, it almost never works. Embarrassing for such a high value sport. But greed always wins I guess007

I love F1 TV, im using it for years now. Love the content and the stream. But please disable the auto play when watching the replays. Im watching replays sometimes to fall asleep (its like ASMR to me) but it auto plays the next video all the time.

For some reason, I could watch the streaming of a considerable number of tv services, smoothly and top quality on my sony bravia tv whilst the F1 tv streaming freezes every 3-5 seconds. Rather irritating.

This app has potential but it’s created by unprofessional individuals who can’t take feedbacks. Even the costumer service has no clue about f1 and they didn’t even had one solution for my problems. You’re lucky I breath F1.
