Terrible UX
The app is all over the place in terms of user experience. The development and UX team is lacking basic common sense.
1) After watching a replay of FP1 of a Grand Prix, instead of auto playing the replay of FP2 of the same Grand Prix it plays the replay of a different race from a different season.
2) The app still does not have the option to select video quality in 2023!
3) Sky sports F1 has the option to stream in 4k and HDR but for some reason F1 TV has failed to implement this feature even for the Pro tier customers.
4) The team has failed to implement Picture-in-picture mode which is one of the most basic features in any streaming service. All the above listed features have been available on free use platforms such as YouTube for many years now.
This goes to show how little they care about delivering good quality of service. Spend money on hiring a proper development and UX team rather than shoving ads down my throat on every social media platform! I would rate the app in negative stars if that option was available. Abysmal!
Disappointing interface
The app forces to update during a live session - and it’s not like I last updated several months ago - it was only a week ago. This is very very poor design. No picture-in-picture option and the fact that the content pauses every time I scroll down the notification bar - quite a poor interface. For such a hefty subscription price, we should be getting these basic features plus much more.

Horrible app. Will forget login in 3 days. Will randomly throw errors on geographical location. And actively wants location data and very invasive for a streaming app that costs so much.
Clunky and slow to load on very speed connections
Need major improvements
This app is such a joke, this is the third time i lost my money because the app couldn’t finish the subscription, the moment i paid it gave me the error. I know FIA will jot care about loosing a single guys from its audience. Even though i have the app i use social media for everything going forward will only check results on social media. Being an Indian F1 fan now i can only watch the races on this app and it lags so much. Such poor performance.
AirPlay issues
Too many issue when trying to airplay. It automatically goes to default channel than the one selected for airplay. Unable to select the language English during airplay.
Great TV coverage
The visual coverage is brilliant matched with excellent commentary. Per and post race shows are treat to watch.
