F1 TV

I have fibre cabled network with no image quality issues for any other tv applications. I use the app on appletv and the image quality goes from very good to unwatchable. I’m having to restart the box 3 times just to watch the pre race show. I’m dreading watching the race…. Come on it’s a great app if it would actually stream in a decent quality.

Can’t even think where to start, so many glitches… for what we pay for this service you would expect better

Works as it should, happy with the app, however, not happy that after 3 months of a 12 month subscription they have stopped access and will only reinstate if I purchase another 12 months and try and get a refund of the unused portion from Apple. Apple have declined that and F1TV won’t resolve it. Just be aware that F1TV don't like resolving issues. **update - Apple continue to refer me to the developer and the developer continues to refer me to Apple…developer wants me to pay again for the app even though I already have and want Apple to refund me for the old subscription…Apple won’t refund. It’s an endless loop of the blame game and the end result is I’m out $99 and I have no access to the app unless I pay another $99 …that’s called a scam…. **Further Update** F1TV won’t even communicate with me and won’t provide a phone number. Apple have refused to deal with it as well. If you do purchase it make sure you do it direct and not through Apples App Store. Then if it goes wrong F1TV have to deal with it.

Does it extremely poorly. Casting to a tv is just horrible, super laggy and riddled with bugs. It is however, the only way for me to get f1.

The videos are very jumpy/catchy.

Update: March ‘23. Still no Picture in Picture. They only streaming app I use out of around 10 that doesn’t have it as a feature. Still issues with quality of stream on iOS. Most recent FPs, quali, races will eventually kick in good quality, but forget it with a race from even a couple of years back. Terribly quality. Can’t even read the names on the on screen standings. Recent press conferences also poor quality. Running ultra fast fibre so no issue with Netflix, Apple, Disney etc. Where is Picture in Picture? Even standard free to air TV companies offer this.

A great app to keep you up on F1. Love how it syncs across all devices. Would love to see a download feature so you can download races and qualifying etc to watch offline when you are traveling.

I will get the year sub 2025, Looking forward to Lewis Hamilton going to Ferrari , amongst other things can’t wait🙂

App is ok when all the stars align. On race days there’s clearly some server lag. Every race day it struggles loading each portion of the race event. Also need to be more aware of those in the Southern Hemisphere when the races are happening in the middle of the night. Pretty gutting to wake up, excited to watch the race a few hours after and immediately be shown the results before you watch it…🤬

App often buffers for no reason depending on what device you are on. Got to be the app as I have no issues on other streaming platforms
