Clunky and slow but I guess it’s pretty much an idle game anyway
Whoever designed the ui / camera / touch controls was either catatonic or has never used a touchscreen before. It’s so slow unintuitive, and I’d swear that 95% of taps go to things you’re not near or aiming for as if I'm using an ancient resistive touch screen.
I feel for anyone that paid for the Mr Handee’s, they only work on 1 floor and are for 1 vault or take literally an entire week of irl time to gather an almost useless 5000 caps. By comparison a regular explorer will gather more like 15,000 caps, guns, outfits and potentially lunchboxes (maybe quantum?), and dwellers in about 4 days. Not 7. So you either buy a bunch of them and send them out, or slowly gather them in quests.
It really feels like the game is meant to be played for a couple of days then forgotten. After that there’s nothing to do and no real change to the game play loop past quests, which all play out the same anyway.
The way the combat system is, everyone gets hurt and radiated pretty much equally in the vault even if only 1 wee fire or creature is still alive. Mole rat bosses are the biggest threat to humanity.
I know it’s not meant to be easy, but once you get a foot hold the game is as simple as an idle game where you tap to gather resources or to give a stim pack or rad-x to someone who’s hurt. It feels like nothing of value has ever been changed or added in all these years and it wasn’t play tested past the basic functions and called good.
This game is so much fun.
This game is truly awesome and is so much fun to wake up and check on your bunker and its inhabitants.
Wow
This game was around during my childhood, my cousin introduced it to me and I installed it, having completely no idea what Fallout was. A few years passed and I was all grown up, ventured into Fallout 4, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, absolutely loving all three of them. Then the show came, binged that as soon as it released and loved it. Then I came back to this game after finding out that elements of the show had been updated into it and I loved it, the quests are amazing. Fallout begun in my youth and continues even now and it all started with Fallout Shelter.
Developers, this is the best mobile game I have ever play and I hope you understand how loved it is. Please continue to develop and support this game, as I will too.
I love this game
Like u can chose what to do and it’s to fun like i can hop in for like 5m
Very good game
Could add oxygen. Otherwise very good game!
Just rather tedious in the end
Fun at the start, but the resource management just becomes rather tedious, as it is pretty difficult to work out what the right balance of rooms producing resources are; meaning you are pretty constantly running low on some basic essential at any stage in the game. The fact that resources don’t seem to be self generating whilst you are away from the game and unable to collect them manually just makes the whole thing extra tedious. Events such as raider attacks or rad roach infestations just become annoying or extra frustrating as a result. Going out on missions just feels like a bit of a luxury or risk given the need to focus on balancing the basics. I’m guessing the driver here is to get you to spend real cash to keep afloat, but you just don’t get invested enough in the game to want to do this. Deleted in the end. Shame, as a nice concept.
Great fun
Cool way to whittle away time.
Really good game
Fallout shelter is an awesome game and I’ve finished it about Three times. Every time I play I discover more cool features. I recommend to any fallout lovers.
PvP and Clans?
K, what if we had a similar thing to Clash of Clans? If we had some type of PvP in the game, that would be amazing and a great addition to the game; it would be similar to how u do Seer missions, I’m sure u guys can work it out. And clans would be another great addition to the game as well and if we had some type of war system or something, that would be insane, ofc, a lot of changes would have to be made such as new rooms and so on unless u guys find a way to make it work!
