Beschreibung

FieldVisits is a software application that allows you to collect and process observer data in the field without paper.
Paperless data collection reduces the effort of transcribing data and the risk of overlooking or misplacing measured
values. Manual measurements still play an important role in the measurement of environmental data despite increasing
automation. FieldVisits and WISKI allow you a seamless workflow when saving and evaluating the data.
The application allows you to process readings from data collectors and non-automatically measured data, information
and anomalies.
The software is used for data acquisition, e.g. in quantitative and qualitative observations of groundwater and surface
water as well as in structural monitoring.
You can use FieldVisits on your tablet or smartphones or your laptop. Since you don't
need access to a server or network during your field data collection, you can use FieldVisits offline during your field
tours.
Your field visits are organised in measurement tours. These consist of a station list and time series. The station list
contains the stations that you visit during your measurement tour. Alternatively, you can also reach your desired
stations using a geographical map. Your observer data is stored in the time series.
You can create measuring tours in WISKI or provide them through a CSV file.
You can also create your own user-defined forms according to your needs to collect and process measurement tour data.
In addition, the software provides sampling, maintenance and repair forms. The form types are stored as field visit types
in WISKI.
A field visit type consists of readings and observations. Readings are recorded as simple numeric inputs that are assigned
to parameters. You can record observations e.g. As free texts or select them from key lists or record them e.g. as simple
yes/no statements using check boxes. You must configure readings and observations beforehand in WISKI.
In addition to the measured values, you can also store images taken with a smartphone or tablet in the forms.
You can transfer your data from WISKI to FieldVisits online over the WISKI REST interface or a connected WISKI standard
portal. Alternatively, you can transfer your data using FVZ files from WISKI to FieldVisits and back.
