Ever time I save a file or anything like that I can never use it .im in desperate need of sending files away but for the past year not app wont let me send any files away . Everything is always in gray .

(More frequently like every 2 seconds(also don’t show the annoying saving ptf thing fluting saving which prevents you from editing just let us do stuff while it saves (doesn’t save the new stuff)))

SMB file access is bugged and incorrectly has permissions set to read only. I have tried a lot of fixes and a lot of others have had this issue for a couple of years now. Also it would be nice to be able to customize the bottom section. I couldn’t care less about shared or recents, I should be able to put custom directories there and have the option to rearrange them. Custom folder icons would be so sweet too, it’s hard to navigate quickly with everything in that folder blue wash. Folder behaviour is unintuitive at times too, opening a pdf in a browsers storage folder opens that pdf in said browser and I don’t always want that. Let me change default app behaviour please. Back to network attached drives, let me give them a friendly name both in the app and the recently connected list.

Trying to mark-up pdfs with this app is like trying to climb up a ladder with vaseline on your hands and feet. Possible but with great difficulty and pain. You will lose 20 minutes of progress at once if you do not manually save like it’s the 1950s. Autocorrection of your handwriting is often incomprehensible and makes you hopeful that whatever AI apple is using for this app will never take over the world. 0/10 congratulations Apple for creating a market for paid note-taking and mark-up apps that are worth it only so that you can avoid using this awful app built by incompetent software engineers.

This app is terrible for marking up documents! Every time i am drawing it blacks out about every five minutes and deletes any writing not already saved.b Goodbye files app.

Terrible, I have hundreds of files I keep on a 4tb ssd that I use for my 3d modelling and can’t access anything anymore. New drives have similar issues, there needs to a reason for this when my androids can read them and my M4 “Pro” has been hamstrung. Bought this for mobile ZBrush but being forced to use what? Paid cloud service?

0 Stars. This is the worse iPad OS app ever made. It’s extremely clunky and finicky compared to MAC OS Finder. It really slows down productivity and breaks flow if you need save more than 1 file at a time or click multiple files, rename multiple files etc. Another huge pain is that the preview quick look is always full screen and it’s not windowed nor maneuverable if you want to preview docs side by side in a jiffy - it is impossible to do side by side viewing unless you have two apps open and it adds 10 clicks to do such a simple thing. It’s super frustrating and clunky and makes me want to ditch the iPad and go back to Mac OS. If Apple markets the iPad as a productivity device, this App, along with the god forsaken Stage Manager are the biggest deal breakers.
