Freezing articles

App is really buggy lately. The majority of articles I open lately cause the app to completely freeze. Closing and restarting the app has no effect. Incredibly annoying for a premium priced product.

I’m new to the FT. In my view there is no bias other than rationality . Less businessy than one might expect. Similar in many ways both to the the points of view and standard of writing in the economist which is no bad thing - though the FT view is expressed more firmly editorially in my view.

On line with the FT

I started reluctantly reading the FT when I was 17, I’m now 59 and still reading it , so what happened ? Initially our Economics teacher instructed us to get our grubby school boy hands on the odd copy if we wanted to Macro & Micro Economics in action . Fortunately my father brought a copy home every lunchtime from the office along with 4 other broad sheets. Apart from him no one else ever read it , or so I thought ! 😃. My mother caught me after washing the dishes , scrutinizing the image free and impenetrably tight prose ( for me at least ) of Samuel Brittan . “So what do you think she enquired “ Hard work “ I think was my reply. “It’s a great paper “ she exclaimed to my utter wonderment , coming as it did from a Bio Chemist!! We’d only ever broached the utterly unknown via the Periodic Table and getting to grips with her slide rule ( I labored with the latter ) !! “ If you want to get to the bottom of things f, follow the money “ she added matter of factly as she inspected the fruits of my plate washing ! And of course she was right, one’s mother always is after all. Fortunately Mr Brittain convinced me I was not up to the job of being an economist, but I stuck with it and over the years is it has improved greatly at least from the point of view of a Industrial Designer like myself. One economic lesson I learned in the mid 1990’s was that it was cheaper to subscribe then buy it every day at the news stand, even though I liked that ritual and the occasional banter with the news paper sellers , who also invariably shook a peek when shot was going down somewhere across the globe , they too knew where to go why they wanted to get to the bottom of things🙂. Finally when the FT went online I was in my element . I work in ICT and FT on line was made for I could set my preference my alters and save my favorite articles ( instead of accumulating a pile of pink paper scattered like sheet of pink confetti around the house . It always improving and the expanding bit at its core it’s still the same well written well structure and reliable FT . May it long continue . frazer mckimm

The pictures of each news get really low resolution. Please improve their resolution to improve overall reading experience. Many thanks.

Stuttering app, ads in spite of paying

The content is good. The app and experience is mediocre. I’m not used to seeing unblockable moving ads after paying. Better off on the website. Works great in safari.

Really enjoy the depth of analysis and the quality of the articles

The FT is simply the best

Human AI on

I use a lot of sources of information, both professionally and personally. The FT is outstanding both for the quality of the reporting and the global reach of the content. And the stories are often further enhanced by the Comments section!

Good app

Great content, good looking app, never glitches or freezes. Just wish they’d add a night theme, but I’m still very happy with the app

Excellent.

The best newspaper, or magazine, available on finance and current affairs. Top class in every way. Delighted with all aspects of my subscription.

How sensational can we be?

conerned on

Irland

Opinion section pieces still at least attempt decent analysis and by definition do a good job on opining! The rest is low quality market comment/sensationalism. So disappointing. So poor. So tabloid.
