It’s just ok folks
I love staying informed and catching up with all the news of interest. The app itself helps to achieve the task, although it’s usability is not top notch. Sometimes it shows me outdated news and needs further refresh attempts. Breaking news are not being delivered quickly as I imaged via push notifications. Sometimes the apps results sluggish for a short period of time. I believe that FT should invest more into a native app since I assume this is not. Having said that, the quality and variousness of the FT content is great. I do really enjoy this app as a companion of the FT Digital Edition one.
Good app, would appreciate a “reader” feauture
The app works swiftly and the content is probably the top you can get nowadays. I would just appreciate having a “reader” mode feature, so that when you open an article you can have it shown as in the reader mode of safari in iPhones, which is much better for your sight.

Terrible app for all the things that matter (daily edition, FTWeekend…). For the price of an FT sub, I expect much better. Pathetic.

The widget is not updating until I tap on it and launch the app. Background app refresh is on. Please fix this.

Great on desktop too
I love to read the FT App on my Mac: it fits perfectly in the desktop browser with all its features (for example “read it to me”) and actually it’s better and faster than the website. One step into the “universal app” era which has just started.
