This is a good app.
Not sure what has changed recently but App keeps crashing and I need to delete and reinstall in order to restore functionality
I used to have enormous respect for FT, and had the paper delivered. But since I’ve subscribed to you digitally I discovered that you’ve really become a much less consistent newspaper. > Your digital service has frequently found new reasons to deny me access to interesting articles. Some are parked off limits behind your $700+ /year — why not $7000 ? —“ premium” service. Some complain that i only have a “trial” sub, despite paying $370 for a full year last Oct. > Your censorship policies on comment letters are quirky at best. I have the sense that an AI bot is being put thru its paces. > Your coverage is terrific in certain arenas that i follow closely, like financial crimes, and miserable in others, like what’s really going on in behind the scenes in European politics, the rise of the New Right, and most of your coverage of key South democracies like Kenya, South Africa, and Nigeria. Private Eye does a much better job of breaking investigative stories w far fewer words. There’s more, but overall, even tho i disagree with its politics, the WSJ does a much better job of original thought provoking reporting — for much less $$$. Best
The Financial Times is a pleasure to bead because it presents the facts of the story then frequently looks at how the developments will impact various effected constituencies without emotional language. It is balanced and clear. Opinions are clearly called out and stand apart from the news reporting.
I love the FT, on any platform, and visit daily. It doesn’t seem to recognize my (expensive) subscription on my iPad. I can only get past the firewall by using a browser. Frustrating.
This is my 6 th downloading due to the stop and freeze of the app on my iPhone. It works for first one week or so then stops working. Is it my iPhone issue or any kind of bugs between the app and the phone?
Nothing wrong with the FT’s journalism, but the app is horrendous. It freezes and reloads constantly. Scrolling through the comments is also bad. It just seems like they made the app in 2013 and haven’t updated it since. Please fix it!!!
The amount of battery this app drains makes no sense. They are probably tracking you with dsp/ssp pixels etc.
Crashes immediately on start, app no longer opens.
Repeated crashing on latest iOS, widget also needs updating
