Fine - Photo Editor

For the longest time this was hands down my favorite photo editing app. You could customize everything, do so many cool edits, and have great control over the tools. Unfortunately the update has taken away a lot of those features. Not being able to inverse/ reverse the highlighting tools is a huge negative that has had a big impact. For example you can select a circle and it will let you edit things outside of the circle like light and color but won’t let you switch it so you’re editing inside it. The assets used to not just be overlays and had a great feature where you could select how they were layered into the photo which created really cool effects. The blur erasing tool also used to be easier to use. It glitches a lot now and doesn’t properly work. I loved the older version of this and it’s so sad to see it gone and replaced with a more generic editor and a lot less of the true photo editing things that made it once so great.

I was trying to select a color using a hex value whenever setting an image’s background. I’m only able to use a color picker that isn’t the default one. Could you please add the ability for one to use that color picker? One, it would allow users to choose from their saved colors and two, it would allow one to use hex codes to select colors

Not feeling the most recent update at all. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Not as intuitive and functionality / effects that I enjoyed about the app are no longer apparent.

I’m actually pretty upset since this app hasn’t been updated in years and then when it does get added you deleted the custom preset feature which was one of the most useful features of the app. I used to use this app for all my projects but unfortunately i'm going to have to switch apps as I can’t remake a filter 100x a day for my projects its far too time consuming. This app was definitely 5 stars before this update but its still worth it if you don’t need to create your own presets or use the same filter often.

This app is too great to edit photos. So update the app regularly its a humble request by app lover.

I’m a professional photographer with both Getty and AP syndication. I have every tool imaginable on my Mac and have accumulated COUNTLESS iOS apps for quick edits/social media sharing, though my standards remain high even then. Since I’ve discovered Fine, it has dethroned my previous favorite. Having “real” levels AND curves adjustments along with the color balance and color selection tools alone put it in a different class, but there’s so much more. The only thing I wish the Dev would add would be a gray picker for white balance (🙏🏻). With that addition, Fine could be my one-stop app for 95% of my photo edits.

I adore yall. Genuinely. I had been using another photo editing app for a WHILE. I LOVED it as it was easy to use and had many features for free, but I opened it today and 90% of the features were now behind a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. So, upset, I went looking for a new photo editing app. I found this. This app is amazing. ALL the features I loved in the previous app, and then so SOOO many more. I was MORE than happy to pay the VERY fair price. Ive been editing photos ive had sitting in my camera roll unedited for a while because its so easy and this app genuinely makes it fun. I pay for photoshop for school, but would much rather use this app to edit my photos. Yall deserve the world. Thank you for not giving into the ever-growing monthly subscription trend. Id pay even more than $1.99 for this app with how great the features are and the fact that it is a one-time purchase. May both sides of your pillows always be the perfect temperature. <3
