My FING Box fights with my Router
There is an underlying issue that I cannot fathom. My ASUS Zen Wifi6 routers do not like Fing Box. Have no idea why. As a result I have stopped Premium and disconnected my Fing Box from the Network. Very Frustrated
Rubbish
I would not recommend this site because I was having issues with my provider for some reason I was connected to Amazon in London when I’m based in Manchester and my provider is brisk. All sorted now I’ve got a far superior service and I’m a lot happier being in control.
Misleading rubbish about being tired
I don’t use the device lookup feature but now they are saying they have an overwhelmed service to do a basic MAC lookup (which doesn’t use the internet). App now removed as I can do this from a CLI. I might write my own now and put it up for free.
Good to useless
Used to be a good tool for the occasional scan but now you have to pay to use it its useless hense 1 star review - the app no longer works unless you want to pay for it
Functional but fairly useless
Very underwhelming set of tools with many features behind a paywall. • Port scanning doesn’t work well • Device identification is broken • Requires an account to even open • Security tests are paywalled • Doesn’t seem to support IPv6 You’d be better using other free tools
DOESN’T WORK
The app doesn’t work on my Mac.
Annoying but it works
It does its job, but every SINGLE TIME i open the app it takes three taps to skip the tutorial, the offers of paid versions and other detritus before I can actually use it. If it didn’t pester so much it would probably get 5 stars.
Fall from grace
Used to be great but now pretty much all features behind a paywall. Performing a basic scan via app seems non-intuitive and difficult. Occasionally will get message advising you can’t perform scan for x number of days unless pay a subscription.
Very poor app
Developer recently updated app. Now if you want to scan more than once a day, you have to pay(subscribe). Deleted the app and use inet now instead, which doesnt screw around
