Please add option to remove max effort workouts
Great app please add a setting to turn off max effort workouts, I don’t incrementally use weights throughout sets would be nice to not have to keep disabling randomly whenever it appears for a workout

I did. Mired in the same old routine. Let Fitbod guide you. I’m out of the rut I chose to remain in for over a year! Consistent use of the app will shake up your workouts. Further, in the absence of a trainers accountability, the apps reminders and analytics serve me as a virtual trainer. Thank you fitbod!!
I really like the app, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I should be able to specify I only have one barbell; I often get supersets with two different barbell exercises with different weights. I often end up having to replace one of the exercises so I’m not trying to change plates on the barbell in the middle of the superset. Also, I should be able to specify the weight of my barbell is 45 lbs. I often get “barbell only” exercises that are 35 lbs. the extra 10 lbs isn’t a big deal, but it would just clean up the experience.
This workout app is great. It gives me flexibility of exercises without having to think. Former athlete and I know what to do but I don’t want to spend the mental energy coming up with what I need to do.
I wish the plate calculator was a lot easier to get to. I also dislike that it suggests weights that aren’t possible with your gym set up. Why set up your gym/weights if it’s not even going to follow it? I have to manually change my weight every time to match up with what I have. The app also needs to account for set-up/workout time along with the rest time. My 45 minute workouts are more like 60 minutes when you account for that
I’ve used this app for a few years now, and most of the bugs have been fixed. Here’s what I like: I can set the frequency of workouts (how many day per week I want to workout), how I want to split workouts (legs/push/pull in my case), duration of workouts, exercise equipment available (this is great for home gyms, so it won’t suggest exercises you can’t do), and also manually tell the app not to recommend certain exercises I hate lol. The Apple Watch app now works well, which is a must. The tracking/log is well done too. I’m just not sure the app is worth the money though. If it were a one time fee of $99 or a yearly subscription of $19, that seems more reasonable for the feature set and frequency of updates.
There are a lot of exercises or just variations of exercises that could be added. Also many exercises weight wise can be done using weight in one hand, and the app doesn’t allow for the user to change that. It would be great if the weight was just weight used, instead of weight in each arm.
Needs updated
I wanted to give this app another try after using once before in the past to see what improvements I can make in the month
Best Workout App I’ve used.
