Not Apple Watch compatible
Great app, the AI could be better. It assumes that a big inner could do 2 full minutes of jumping jacks in 6 sets with 30 second intervals. I haven’t met anyone in the gym who could do that.
The above is a small problem. The real problem that it’s not connected to the Apple Watch to be able to take data of your heart while exercising
Great app, poor models at the back end
A fantastic app for the gym. Some minor usability niggles but it makes workouts so much easier and keeps the routines relatively varied (except for cardio / warm-up). Sadly, even though I’ve been using the app regularly and must have logged well over 200 workouts, its recommendations on weight and reps are often still way out. The weights and reps also yo-yo wildly for me even for the same exercise. This is so bad that when I follow the program exactly, my fitness scores on some exercises plummet to much lower levels after several months of regular gym sessions. I may renew for my third full year. If I do, it will just be for the app and I’ll have to copy my data into a spreadsheet to plan my weights and reps for each exercise myself.
Diverse trainer
I this is a great app. The diversity that the training introduces means that I don’t get bored doing the same things over and over. It selects based on fresh muscles so that I can trainer more often without excessive fatigue.
I love it
I am excited everyday to see what workouts its chosen for me. I love that I can adjust the reps and weights (usually up). I only wish it could scan my body to make my results more accurate in terms of like my fat-muscle content etc. But as it is I really love it
Definitely Recommend
I have spent the last 3 years using various fitness apps for my home gym. I noticed that after 2 months, I’d get bored with my 3 workouts per week, have a break for a week or two and try and find some new exciting exercise that I wasn’t already doing thinking it would unlock new gains. But doing so meant I was very inconsistent with my reps (either strength, hypertrophy etc) or chosen weight. What I love about this app is taking away the guess work, and just doing what the app recommends with just some minor tweaks if it’s too easy. The variety definitely gives you that CrossFit WOD feeling where you don’t know what you’re walking into that day. As a few people have mentioned, a buffer in the total workout time would be great, as adjusting weights in a home gym is slower than a commercial gym. It’s early days, but even on advanced setting, the workouts suggested are a bit easy - hopefully the AI picks up on this and the progress overload kicks in. Great app guys.

Great app. Structures my workouts without me having to think about it. Keeps a record of my workout and increases the weight in line with my strength increasing. I’ve seen the best results since using this app. Would highly recommend.

Best fitness app out there. And I’ve tried loads!!
Buggy
The app was quite good to start with but now it’s just too frustrating to use. It’s constantly loosing my settings and also ignoring the equipment that I’ve selected a suggesting completely inappropriate workouts.
I’m not sure if it’s a dodgy update but it cost a lot of money and is unusable now in my eyes.
Missing key feature
This is a product feature which I thought was evident to have, but seems to be missing. When doing a cardio exercise, or any exercise, I would assume the app would measure your heart rate using the apple watch, and can feed this into apple health. How high your heart rate went during the workout, how many steps you did if you’re running etc. Apparently this doesnt happen, which is very annoying. To circumvent this when doing cardio I switch the app off on the apple watch and use the watch built in tracker, the issue with that is when it syncs up with fitbod app, it shows ive done the cardio workout twice…. Once from the app, once from the apple watch. So in short, please fix your app on the apple watch so it can collect all those metrics while exercising, regardless of exercise.
Variety!
I’ve workout out for over 15 years. Love this app for the variety it has brought me as I was doing the same exercises over and over. Too early to say on end goal results but initial thoughts are ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️
