Which app developer in their right mind would enable the microphone constantly, when no recording is being made? Bad for privacy concerns, bad for battery. I thought this would be resolved years ago, alas..

Great mobile DAW but missing som essentials…
Fun to work with on the road but as a musician/singer I wish there were options to edit vocals and live instruments. I have yet to find an easy way to cut up tracks. Combining/merging clips does not work on recordings…
De beste mobiele DAW
Zeer goede applicatie, zeker zijn geld waard ! Ondersteund ook oudere iOS versies, zodat je bijvoorbeeld uw oude iPad kan gebruiken als DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Ook een duidelijke Lay-out en een ruim aanbod van effecten en geluiden. Zeker een aanrader !

Une merveille en devenir
Au premier abord, on se laisse décevoir par une liste d'instruments limitée très orientée musique électronique. Mais dès que l'on ajoute ses propres samples d'instruments, les possibilités laissent rêveur. De la world music en passant par le jazz ou encore le classique, tout devient possible. Aucune latence pénalisante dénotée (iPad 2), ce qui permet d'imaginer utiliser cette petite merveille en live avec un clavier midi. L'exportation audio permet de jongler avec, par exemple GarageBand, ce qui permet d'adjoindre des voix ou de la guitare aux compositions. Pour les sceptiques, je dirai simplement que c'est la première application musicale mobile en laquelle je crois et qui permet, de par ses possibilités d'extensions, de faire enfin de vraies musiques riches, expressives et complexes. Je suis enthousiaste car je suis sûr que les futures mises à jours feront exploser le potentiel de cette application! Quelques petites remarques ou idées pour vos futures mises à jour: -donner la possibilité de gérer des catégories personnalisées afin d'y ranger les customs instruments. Car une fois que l'on dispose de plusieurs centaines d'instruments, la navigation dans une seule catégorie devient pénible. -gérer les effets indépendamment sur chaque piste (même si ceci doit relever du challenge sur une telle plateforme) -créer un outil pc de conversion de samples en .zip voire .instr (conversion 16 bits, normalisation de la forme d'onde, conversion par lots, vérification de la validité avant transfert, ajout d'icône par instrument, catégorisation...) -voir si il est possible de supprimer le clic numérique qui apparait lors de fin de la lecture de certains samples.

Good but no swing function! The swing function which made Fruity loops famous is not implemented in this version.
