Probably a case of completely irresponsible programmer or whatever growing bored with the app and abandoning it...without the courtesy of letting you know (but still accepting money for their worthless app).

This is a great free extension for the iOS native photo editor, presenting nice image effects. However, it'd be great if the app showed the option to Save As upon finishing edition, instead of replacing the original picture right away. Additionally, the unnecessary app icon should be hidden from the home screen.
