Battery issues
I have used the app for a while, and while I haven’t used it in amber (thankfully), it seems to work fine. However, last few days it seems to be draining my phone battery running in the background when the app has not been opened. Force quitting, the battery drained the following day too. Had to delete it, unfortunately!
The Ultimate personal safety app!!
I first heard about Flare (Busby) some time ago from the founder but thought it was only for cyclists, however, after further investigation it’s a technology that I believe everyone should install and use every day. From my perspective (as a father of four), two of whom are early teens, this technology gives me the piece of mind in knowing they can let me know if they are vulnerable or feeing unsafe. Also, if they are out on their bikes and are involved in an accident / impact then again I would be alerted and can get help to them quickly. For anyone who enjoys outdoor activities then again this app will literally save lives. If you come off your bike or are involved in a fall and god forbid you are alone (maybe even unconscious) then Flare is activated using the sensors in your phone to trigger an alert to your loved ones. Another cool feature is you earn sweatcoins for every minute of activity under Flares protection that can been redeemed in their great on-line store 👍 I can’t recommend this app enough and it’s free!
App crash all time
App it’s crashing after lunch immediately, trying use on my IPhone 12 Pro, I’m rider from Deliveroo and it’s look like this app it’s no working…
Peace of mind
Had the app since version one and it’s been a great addition to my regular cycling routine. Knowing that, should the worst happen, my family will be notified is absolute peace of mind for both me and my partner. I was sceptical about the crash detection. To start with but it’s never failed me and the app is so simple to use.
It really is safety in your pocket!
I absolutely love Busby, with a medical condition going out training alone can be tricky sometimes. Since having Busby not only do I feel safer incase of a collision, I feel like I’ve got additional protection incase it’s needed due to medical reasons. A brilliant app helping everyone, certainly makes me feel safer out on the bike!
Could be good but failing
Hi - could be a great app however when the crucial moment comes.. it currently says failed to send message. I have changed contacts and still the same. Running on an iPhone 12 Pro.
Discounts keep disappearing
Premium membership keeps deactivating with no explanation and am then asked to pay again to regain access. Please find an enduring fix for this issue!

New found confidence
After previously feeling a total lack of confidence in tackling the mean streets of ill-considered automobilists, Busby has given me the encouragement I needed to don my helmet and dust the cobwebs off my lonely bicycle in the knowledge that I will be able to avoid potential hazards and ride in safety. A must have for nervous cyclists or beginners!
