Ok, it’s honestly very tricky and confusing to get started with, BUT stick with it! Now I just have a folder in Dropbox with lots of excel spreadsheets and it easily transfers to the app. Cards can have multiple sides, audio, pictures. And I’ve just discovered spaced repetition! There’s so many options! One of my favourite apps. Brilliant!
Useless app. You need to be a scientist to work out how to use it. Nobody in my family could work it out. What a huge waste of money.
been using this program on the iphone many many years ago, then ipad, and now the mac. Paid once many years ago, and still being updated and improved, and works on ALL apple devices. Easy to use, and works amazingly.
I bought this app under the impression that I could transfer cards in from quizlet. The spaced repetition feature would be super useful. But transferring is a nightmare and would literally require me to reformat every single card. Disappointing that despite having paid for it, it’s use is limited.
It’s just so inelegant! The app itself is very good, and would benefit so much from some overall design polish :)
Love the 5 sides of cards
I purchased this as my previous flash card app by another company lost functionality. I'm so glad it did as this app is more intuitive and has many more features. Transferring card sets between devices is so much easier and being able to have cards with three sides helps me to fade my prompts and learn faster.
Flashcards Deluxe has an incredible set of features. For people who are very particular about what their flashcard app should do, this is a godsend. The developer has done a fantastic job of continuing to support and improve this app for over 5 years. Highly recommended!
Do not buy this app. It is a scam. There are no flash cards inside and the "instructions" to obtain them are completely incorrect. Do not waste your money on this app. There are many others which actually work. Will be reporting this app to Apple.
The developer keeps thinking up things you never knew you needed, and then you find you can't do without them. The latest update adds great new features to an already excellent app. Adding online images within the app is now super easy. And the card linking feature means you can do things like select a word on one flashcard and immediately be shown all your other flashcards which have sentences featuring that word. This is easily the best flashcard app out there - I find it far better than Anki.
