Purchased the 50€ yearly Abo. Liked the performance proposal. But, Very poor on European flights. No real live data etc. wish I could get the 50€ back.

inaccurate Data

Unfortunately the App is quite unreliable. I am using it for a while now, but quite often delays are not shown although they are already announced at the airport for a while or plane is shown as still at gate with delay when it is actually already in the air on time. I have the impression the app doesn’t use ‚officially‘ data but relies on data users deliver I cancelled my Abo

Zeigt selbst Stunden nach der Meldung einer Verspätung durch die Airline immer noch an, dass der Flug pünktlich kommt.

This app is an absolute joy to use. Especially since the recent update which massively improved data accuracy in Europe!

Useful to know about delays

This app is helpful if you want to know about delays or cancellations, or if you're not able to see the display screens at the airport, because it'll tell you the gate number when it's called. However, at some airports, it's late with the information, so in one case I was literally the last person to know! And if you're trying to follow your own aircraft, when you're in the air without data, it's just guessing. Considering this is using publicly available data, the app is too expensive.

Sends ADs as Notifications

Immediate 1-star review, since the app sends invasive ads for their premium subscription as notifications. This is a bad practice and no-go in my opinion.

Schönes Design, aber kaputte Live notifications

Die App ist wirklich schön designed, es sieht tool aus und scheint auch ernst gut zu funktionieren. Aber die Live notifications und die Flugdaten in der App sind manchmal sehr inkorrekt. Ich hab bisher 2 Flüge getrackt. Bei einem Flug stand, dass es in Augsburg gelandet sei anstatt am Zielflughafen, selbst nach dem direkten Landen des Flugzeugs. Auch die Ankunftszeit ans Abflugzeiten scheinen sehr zu variieren. Die Daten sind erst im Nachhinein korrekt, aber nicht während der Nutzung

Great in the US, not so Great everywhere else

Flighty is a helpful app that works impressively well in the US. The user interface is intuitive, notifications are fast, and the wide range of features makes traveling much less stressful. However, there is a noticeable drawback in Europe: the tail number often only appears in the app 1-2 hours before departure. This makes it difficult to track your flight early, which is one of Flighty’s core features. Services like Flightradar often provide these details much earlier, so it’s clear that the issue isn’t due to a lack of data. If Flighty were as reliable in Europe as it is in the US, I wouldn’t hesitate to give 5 stars. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed in the future!
