I'm learning Korean and im more of an intermediate so was looking for more informal speech since google translate and other apps immediately translate to formal, this although doesn't which I prefer since it gives more realistic everyday speech.

I downloaded this app yesterday and attempted to sign in using my Google account. When I set up, I accidentally selected US as my region. I couldn’t find a way to change this so, I logged in with my Twitter info instead so that I could participate in the event I saw advertised. I did 200 (Passing) sentences. I watched throughout the day for any rejected by quality assurance, there was none. I was issued my points the same day, requested my cash out and was paid by morning. I was happy to see this and thought, “wow! I’ve never encountered such an efficient system!” Then, I received a very condescending email regarding making multiple accounts and threatening being banned or even legal action. No one asked me what happened or anything. Below that, was a part stating I submitted incomplete/incorrect sentences.. I didn’t, I was thorough in my sentences, so I thought. ALL 200 passed quality check on top of me thinking I did them all efficiently. This has left a very sour taste for this company/app in my mouth. I don’t want to be pursued legally for making a simple mistake, threatened vs being treated as a human, and blamed for something I didn’t even know I did and was approved by said company. For the time spent, the pay was fair. For the anxiety and unnecessary abrasiveness, totally not worth it

Is this app using formal speech when I translate?

Yikes, the level of language is really subjective bc there’s no such thing to gauge their language (skills), and I saw a wrong translation was chosen just because the level was “fluent” — according to the user 👏 It also seems like some random people just randomly leave some made up translation requests. I used this app for about a week and deleted my account and the app because it was like my efforts to make better interpretation were not paying off at all. Probably I’m not gonna use this again.

I’m using this app in IPAD. Everything is good bug please support landscape mode.

It is scam and not same as the ads you see to make money. When you install it, then asks you to log in by web browser and need to have many docs and certifications for starting translations, Also need to have 2 years work expropriation. Anyway didn’t work for me.

It’s beautiful way to connect with Translators but I don’t know why this app always stop working suddenly!! I have to remove it from my iPhone and reinstall it again

This is my go-to app for gig translation jobs. Easy-to-use interface with reasonable pricing. Recommended for multilinguals who need some extra cash from time to time.

管理不行，用的人也不多。 如果你想帮忙翻译： -出力不讨好，浪费时间。 -不要以为能赚钱，分分钟就找理由扣的比你赚得多。况且翻译之后很多人不会理你，白白浪费时间。 -软件只会限制翻译官，对寻求翻译的人和质量毫无约束。充斥着大量没有意义的翻译请求。 如果你想翻译： -短的不如机翻，还快一些。更有别的准确的翻译软件。 -如果你寻求翻译质量更不要用这个软件。大部分只会直接译，不会联系上下文。 总结，不管你帮人翻译还是寻求翻译，用这个软件就是浪费时间 don't be the translator，waste of time.
