Airlink definitely offers the best flying experience in South Africa, but this app is terrible. It hangs indefinitely on a “join Skybucks” screen even though one is logged in as a Skybucks member. It also “loses” flights that have been loaded, and then have to be reloaded time and time again. It’s a pity that such an excellent airline persists with a hopelessly inept dev team.

Besides the fact that the app keeps on freezing 9/10 timesdespite being updated,  there are always issues with payment regardless of the card. And then i have to fill in ALL the details AGAIN just be be shown an error. It is literally the ONLY app that asks you to repeat ALL your details (name, phone nr, emails adress) at payment. WHY??? i am loggd in so its on the system 😡

Booking tickets is super easy and great, my only complaint is the skybucks reward system, I’ve done more flights than what have been logged and get told it’s too late to claim these flights which is so frustrating as I did pay and take the flights but emailing has proved unsuccessful

This is not an app. This is an online platform and does not run its pages local to your phone. It’s basically a library for web pages. It’s slow, non responsive and difficult to navigate. I have been trying to sign up and use Skybucks and it is pointless. It is the most difficult process I have ever had to do on an “app”. Till today I am still not “registered” as my already registered account no longer exists. 
This is a poor effort from such a large airline. Do better Airlink. If SaFair can do it, you can too.

This is a well designed app but doesn’t work very well. Flying airlink twice a month now and it takes at least 1 minute to launch the app and for it to start working. It’s frustrating when you want to quickly check your bookings. Secondly there is no back button feature when you are deep in a search. You have to exit the app and open it again and wait another minute for it to load. I’ve had the app for almost a year now and there hasn’t been an update to address the issue of waiting for a minute or so for the app to start working.

Last night I traveled on Airlink from Cape Town to Jhb - I left my I pad in the pocket of the seat ( on the wall ) seat 3d 
Only discovered when I arrived home 
On going back to Baggage at the airport I was assisted by Johannes , who sent someone to the hanger at 8 pm at night to find my I pad 
I was very impressed and thankful 
That’s why I fly Airlink
