Focus Plant: Forest detox app

It helps with concentration and the plants are very very cute.

Truthfully I don’t understand some of the other reviews- this app is great as a study timer especially as someone who has ADHD and struggles to focus this app is phenomenal - It gamifys revising - the more you revise the more plants you grow - it just gives you something to work towards- I highly recommend this app

this is too complicated, it encourges you to engage in app instead of actually focusing on tasts. beautiful graphics, but insanly long introduction, too many things to keep track of, gardeners, water, plant, flying things, music. I had do delete it right away. I was very repulsed by what this app was asking from me ... I just want a timer with beautiful graphics that can plant me trees. Not an entire mobile game. I DO NOT have the brain capacity or the free time to engage in this.

I totally recommend this app, it is like a mini game but you need to study to get to the next level and is so self motivating!!!

The core idea of earning a currency from focus time to spend on upgrades is a good one. HOWEVER, there is so much stuff in this app that has nothing to do with focus time, and activiely encourages you to engage with the app INSTEAD of focussing. Like loot boxes, upgrading stuff, bonuses that you achieve simply from time passing (outside of focus time), endless menus with exclamation marks showing bonuses to claim. It is designed like any other mobile game, encouraging constant engagement with the game part of the app itself, and the focus timer is almost a secondary feature. You could play this game by simply having it open and waiting without ever hitting play on the pomodoro time, thanks to the stupid whale that gives you currency just for having the app open. If you want an app to help you focus, do not get this app.

i absolutely love this app and it would be great for official school study groups but unfortunately the problem of random people joining rooms means this cannot be the case. allowing rooms to be locked or privated would be a much better option and means more people would use definitely use it

I love this app and it’s so great to use for studying. I’ve gotten all my friends on it and we created a group to compete on the leaderboard. However it is very upsetting that we can’t just compete with each other and we have randoms join our group, disrupting the leaderboard. Honestly this is the best app and it would be 5stars but the facts we can’t have a private room is very upsetting for us.

If you would have told me before I downloaded this app I could do a 3 hour revision session I would’ve laughed but this app has seriously helped me do that great at making people with short focus times actually focus

It gives rewards far too easily. I don’t want to spend 15 minutes mucking about in this app after a 25-minute focus session, just to get back to a point where I’ve maxed everything out and am motivated to acquire more raindrops. Nice idea, but should have a difficulty setting. One little reward for 25 mins would be plenty.
