Everything you could ever want out of an f1 app, except some moronic project manager neglected to include the session start times on the app. Baloney, garbage 1 star app, how do you overlook the single most important component of what could be a great f1 app? LOL

This app will constantly notify you when formula 1 has been completed. It will never tell you that it is happening, about to happen, or anything of the like. I exclusively get notifications that remind me a race, or qualifying, or practice session, is OVER! Notifications that races are starting - I would care for. Notifications that a race is close after a crash or safety car - I would care for. Notifications that a qualifying session is over with the starting grid for tomorrow - I DO NOT CARE FOR. If I wanna know the starting grid I will know the starting grid, it takes 3 seconds to figure out. If I want to watch the race live, i need to remember its happening, and turn it on. To do that, a notification (because this sport happens in the middle of the morning half of the time) would be helpful - but this app does the opposite of useful.
The app has been extremely frustrating to work with . I’ve been trying to get information on ticket sales in Montreal , and still nothing ! When can I get tickets ? Basic question , no answers . This for example is the only chance for input , need I say more ? You need a comment section desperately! If your going to be any help to the fans .
Very frustrating after so long to still find that I cannot stream from my iPhone to the tv without getting error. Content is very good but when you cannot watch the videos on your tv and stuck just using I phone not worth the cost.
The app rarely allows the video playback to reach anything close to HD. If the video quality is set to auto it’s almost always blurry playing at low resolution. If the video playback is set to 720 or 1080 the playback pauses every few seconds. The app is unable to maintain any quality video consistently. There’s no reason for this except the app doesn’t buffer properly. 1080p is only 6mbps & 720p is 3.5mbps. The system should be able to maintain 4K or even 8K with the internet speeds available. For the price, this playback resolution issue should be addressed. Otherwise, the app would be amazing.
I would also like to view the races on my home PC. How can I set this up? Regards Pat.
I’d say 50:50 on good content. Most of the articles are regurgitated quotes from the videos they post, or they’re “top 5” style. Technical articles are really cool and insightful. The UX of the app is extremely poor. Video player doesn’t work as it should (stalls all the time, doesn’t allow downloads or offline content), way too many ads (I’m paying for F1 content already and an ad free version of this app should be included with my subscription), can’t zoom in to images, etc. — 2024 update… pretty much same advice as above.
Amazing App. The interaction and updates are outstanding. If you want to follow F1 and be informed from any where this is how to do it.
Terrible. Can not see Montreal video of practice 2. Might cancel subscription
