Fountain Finder

Used in several different parts of north America. It shows fewer than 50% of long-time present and functioning drinking fountains.

Works alarmingly well and genuinely is useful especially in urban areas!

Originally downloaded it to find places to fill up while traveling in Europe (since it’s insane to me that you have to pay for water in restaurants), but I kept it on my phone and now use it when I’m just out every day. Keeps me hydrated and I don’t have to buy bottled water.

This weekend we forgot to bring a bottle of water with us on a hike in a new area. We saw no fountains on our route for the first half an hour but with the help of Fountain Finder we knew one was coming up and we could prolong our walk feeling safe in the knowledge that a water supply was near.

I love simplicity and beautiful look&feel of this app. Map animations very pleasant to interact with. And so cool it promotes sustainable lifestyle 💪🏻 love it! 💙💧

This is an awesome app, now it is even easier to find the nearest fountain(s)! Knowing (now) that we have 1271 fountains in this beautiful city, hopefully we can reduce our plastic waste: open the app, find the nearest fountain, refill the bottle!
