Car2go or Sharenow w/e pulling straight highway robbery with their rate increases since the “merger” between the 2 companies. Don’t even bother booking a car for more than 6 hours. They tacked on a sneaky $0.19 per KM that’ll cost you a fortune if you’re leaving the lower mainland. Seattle? Kamloops? Victoria for the weekend? Download Evo. Car2go is good if you never have to leave the Vancouver home area.

I changed my credit card information and got charged without any notice or information before ($15). Customer service got back as if that this something I should have known. New pricing structure is absolutely ridiculous.

I crashed my bike delivering food and missed the skytrain because I had to go to the hospital. I live 30km from where I work. Needing to update to a new credit card since I lost the last one and had a new one with new numbers sent to me by the bank which works just fine for the past few months, I go to add it and it doesn’t register in their system. It remains “without payee profile” despite me filling everything out. I call customer support and the billing people are only in Monday to Friday (tough luck weekend go-ers) and I won’t be able to use the service until they send something through Monday. Garbage service. Runs some test cases you dunces managing this service.

The main reason I like car2go and support it is the fact that it is way more convenient and affordable than a traditional car rental company for multiple day rentals. Since the merger with sharenow the pricing for multiple days at first seems cheaper (by $10-50 per day) but now they charge you .20 cents per KM??? For 3 days they used to include 800kms but now it would cost you an EXTRA $160 to drive 800 kms...? Super wack move, cmon now, switching to evo byeeeee

I’ve been trying to renew my license on the app and to start that’s not possible, it’s also really hard to find that section , once you are there and you updated it then the same message appears like you done nothing or like it didn’t work. Then I contacted customer service only to explain the same process and there’s nothing they can do but wait, it’s been over 2 weeks and then nothing,  still can’t use the app. Disappointed, same process with evo car share took me 1 day to resolve it
