Easy to build patterns, great sound set. Would love to see more sample packs, and beat patterns.

This little box faithfully delivers all of the classic analogue drum sounds, and wraps them in an irresistible visual interface to boot. Brilliant!

Love it so far. Wanted to let you know that your MIDI implementation commands show accurate note numbers but are an octave too low for the first five commands. They should start at G5 and move up, and not start at G4.

Very easy to use, various patterns with their corresponding drum sounds easy to recall (36 instant pattern recalls with a single push of a button). This app is very retro in design and sounds great.

App crashes, Cannot open it anymore under iOS 7.

I've been using FunkBox for a couple of years now. They keep adding more functionality to it, but it's still really easy to use. It's fun to just fool around with it sometimes. Funkbox can flawlessly emulate those cheesy old drum machines you might find on an organ in someone's rec room, but you can reprogram any of the beats you to make them funkier, change the swing, mix the levels, or completely reprogram them. It also has inter-app audio compatibility, as well as Midi, so you can take advantage of it with tons of iOS audio apps or external midi devices.

The interface is beautiful, they have countless super fun drum machines with full sets of data. They're manual is extensive. They're working on compatibility, so when I ran into a bug - or what I thought was a bug - I emailed synthetic bits and received a detailed, thorough, personalized orientation email. Very impressed with this app and company. Keep it up!!

Hands down the best drum machine on iOS and rivals both software and real world boxes. It certainly has helped me to appreciate them and collect a few special chosen hardware candidates - and FUNK BOX works well with all of them ~ especially the Yamaha RX-5. FEATURE REQUESTS: Would like to see a way to implement different number of steps on the grid - 16 and 12 not just 32 steps. This has been support suported and well documented too Thanks for doing a pdf manual !! Totally recommend~ little midi machine as well ~ great software!!!

Loved the previous version. The simplicity, the drum machines, all were perfectly fine for my needs. Now all my patterns are gone (disappeared) and the new savable user machines run very slow and just make a bad experience. I don't need a hundred versions of a CR78. Plus the bass drum sounds on the new version aren't as fat as the old version. Please revert back to the old version. Wish I didn't buy this app now.

It's like stepping back in time and having many of old drum machines at your finger tips.
