The app doesn’t save data locally or on their servers. It’s strictly just iCloud. As such, if any sync issue occurs, your data will be overwritten. You’ll lose ALL data outside of your reviews. This includes your games (plus dates completed), challenges, and lists. It even included the lists you PAID FOR. So if you subscribed and made lists, and this sync issue occurs… then poof, your money spent is gone. It’s a shame because this app has a nice UI and pretty well organized. But that bug legit destroyed dozens of hours of logging games and data. And support didn’t help me :( I sadly cannot recommend anyone to use this app unless they fix this issue. It would be a shame to have someone else lose all their data because of a sync glitch out of their control. -- DeathByLasagna, 2025-08-11 ### *---- "Waste of money" I paid a monthly subscription so I could scan in my games with the barcode. A lot of the games say Unable to match a game for that barcode. Kind of defeats the purpose of painting a subscription to use the bar scan tool canceled it right away. Too bad I’m stuck with it for a month and can’t get my money back. Kind of wish there was a free trial version. Very useful for an avid gamer on multiple platforms! Biggest con is that it can’t perfectly sync game libraries yet, so importing any Nintendo platform libraries is tedious, and for platforms that do sync you still will likely want to double check that the sync got the correct game - e.g. if you own God of War (2018), the app might sync it as God of War (2005). This checks all those boxes, and so much more, in an attractive package. I really like the fact I can use this on my Mac as well as my iPhone and iPad. The Mac version was a little buggy, but nothing game-stopping (haha). The lack of a trial also means I’m less likely to invest in GameTrack+ to see if that solves my problems. The backlog challenge is horrible and doesnt track properly. Why cant I edit the dates I completed a game? Why cant I make a list of past games completed? Why are all my games being added to one month? This is downright a horrible app and does not do what its advertised to do. I gave benefit of the doubt when I bought a subscription and gave a chance but I am unsatisfied and would like a refund if possible. Not joking.
