Imagine a new kind of musical instrument ... An instrument where a performer can fluidly express multiple independent voices. An instrument that is both pitch fluid, and helps the performer precisely reach desired musical pitches in any temperament.

GeoShred is an award-winning, fluidly expressive musical instrument that runs on multi-touch devices.

It has a performance surface with “almost magic” pitch rounding algorithms which is coupled with a model of the physics of several types of musical instruments, support for AUv3, MIDI In/Out, MPE, and 3D Touch. It’s a fusion of Jordan Rudess’ performance concepts and a powerful, modeled guitar/effects based on the Physical Modeling research of Dr. Julius O. Smith III of Stanford/CCRMA. And, GeoShred's expressive control can be used with other synthesizers.

The app is awesome but in GarageBand when you load a project and use it as audio unit, it doesn’t sound until you open it. Once you’ve done it works good and keeps working good, but if you load another project it doesn’t sound anyway. You need to open the track every time you load a project and that’s annoying.
But the worst thing is that it doesn’t sound when exporting. I know it’s an old app but solve if you can, it would worth.

App incredibile! E' come portarsi in casa un negozio di chitarre, e non solo... Sicuramente il top per chi ama i suoni delle chitarre amplificate; e quando dico 'suoni' non parlo solo di timbri, ma anche di sustain, riverberi, eco, armonici, e quant'altro si possa mensionare parlando di chitarre con quasi la stessa versatilitá di una chitarra. Se poi si ha la possibilitá di caricare la app con Audiobus o AUM Mixer e filtrare i suoni originali con altre app di effetti come Tonebridge che a me piace tanto, c'é da rimanere a bocca aperta: potete veramente  suonare le chitarre dei vostri paladini con un iPad. Non perdetevela

E' una vera gioia poterci suonare. Sicuramente una evoluzione di Geo Synthesizer, anche se non ha implementazione MIDI.
Grazie al team di Jordan Rudess, l'iPad si è arricchito di un gioiello di cui si sentiva il bisogno. Vedo buoni spazi di miglioramento e ampliamento con altri preset e aggiustamenti in qualche strumento con feedback talvolta fuori controllo. Da chitarrista lo apprezzo tantissimo per la sua grandissima espressività.
Sono sicuro di miglioramenti futuri perchè
J. Rudess guarda sempre avanti alle 
continue evoluzioni. Il suo team deve stargli al passo! Grazie Wizdom!
