Verification is required for renting a car. Illogically, one has to book and fully pay for a ride to even be able to start verification, which then keeps getting interrupted by “unknown error” when uploading pictures of license. Customer support is equally useless and very slow. Only thing that worked out was getting money back automatically within a week after cancelling the ride because verification couldn’t be completed. -- extremely very dissatisfied, 2024-08-19 ### ***** "Geweldige dienst" Voor de eerste keer een auto gehuurd via Getaround. Een makkelijk werkend platform waar je; uiteraard op de beschikbare plaatsen; voor een voordelige prijs een prima auto kan huren van een betrouwbare particulier. Met, of zonder contact. My advice; show cars in a wider range. -- Robert Need, 2021-08-03 ### *---- "Vom fairen Geheimtipp zum teuren Großkapital gewechselt" Wie so oft wenn eine App aufgekauft wird, leiden Qualität und Service extrem, dafür wird alles teurer! Die App ist unvollständig und teilweise schlecht übersetzt, die neuen Nutzungsbedingungen sind unübersichtlich und es ist kaum möglich sie innerhalb einer (vertretbaren Zeit) komplett zu lesen, da ständig auf das nun geltende französische Recht verwiesen wird. Klar damit setz ich mich jetzt auch nochmal schnell vor ner Anmietung auseinander. Es gibt keinen telefonisch erreichbaren Kundenservice, nur noch E-Mail und man darf sich, egal wie dringend das Anliegen oder sie groß das Problem, erstmal schön 3 Tage gedulden. Außerdem wird die Website nun über amazon gehostet, da kann sich ja jeder denken wo die Reise hingehen wird... Ich jedenfalls möchte und werde das nicht mehr unterstützen.
