Keep up the excellent work - nice to see developers supporting free apps like this and much appreciated

This is a brilliant app, but please change the icon. It is awful

The app would be so much better if you could add the ability to categorise items in folders!

I don’t often write reviews but Gladys is an such an excellent app I felt the need to. I use Gladys daily to get at the actual content of data shared with it and the frequent updates just make it more and more useful. I hope the developer keeps up the great work. I’d suggest adding a ‘tip’ option to allow users who value the app to pay a bit more towards its upkeep.

I’ve just had a response from the developer - Gladys is now available on Mac. Ive been using the updated Gladys for about a month, so an updated review: My favourite app at the moment. I’ve been looking for something like this since the iPad arrived - somewhere to store stuff you need to use later or in a different app, somewhere that is accessible whatever device you are using, somewhere to put notes where you’ll actually see them. Gladys is quick and robust, easy to use but great at what it does. The slide-over function on iPad makes it versatile, and the widget makes it quick to use. Now that it’s on Mac as well as iOS it has become indispensable to me. I’ve just paid 0.99p for the upgrade, partly so I can store more stuff (though you get a decent amount for free), but mostly as a thank you to the developer for such a useful app. I wish I could give this 5*+. I absolutely recommend that you give this a try. Well done developer, good work. ————————————————————————————— Original review: I downloaded and tried Gladys, and it works exactly as the developer claims - it’s very clever. However, while Gladys does sync between iOS devices there is no Mac version, which severely limits it’s usefulness to me. If Gladys comes to Mac it will be one of my most used apps, and gain a permanent place on my iPhone doc. For now, however, I’ve deleted and gone back to using the Apple Files app as a ‘shelf’ instead. I’ll be keeping a lookout for the Mac version, though, as this works so well on iOS. For my purposes it’s a 3* app, but I’ve awarded 4* as it is perfect for those only using iOS

Fantastic shelf app. Would prefer folders to labels, and it would be great to have support for renaming items.

So far the best of the ‘shelf’ apps, it’s a joy to use on an IPad Pro and extremely useful on an iPhone. iCloud syncing and the ability to rename, add notes & label is fantastic. Has some nifty features for power users. Folders would be a nice addition (even if it was a modest in-app purchase!) Now has a permanent position in my iPad dock (and a place on the home screen of my iPhone) Highly recommended 👍

Takes full advantage of the new IOS 11 drag and drop features to keep notes in any form easily. I would like folders!

I really like the idea of this app, and would use it a lot - if I could get it to work. I presume that one keeps Gladys running in the background and then on the web page (for example) that one needs to copy items, merely swipe from right edge to open app. In the absence of any instructions, this is what I do, but without success. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong, and if it works then I’ll award you five stars!

The more devices you have, the more indispensable this app becomes. I love it.
