I was able to connect my phone to XPro II trigger, and then trigger a speedlight with my phone. Pretty cool! However, it triggers the flash before taking the picture, which makes for a photo without light. Is there a way to fix the syncing?

And still can’t get the sync to work in combination 

Why even advertised that you can use a iPhone to trigger in camera mode when this is false.

Your developers could had fix this issues or simply say not compatible with iPhone..

it’s disingenuous that you even have it on the Apple Store.. 

Functionally wise I can just use my remote to get to the point instead of adding another device to the mix..

Maybe I’m being kind by thinking it’s an iOS incompatibility issue. But after a lot of frustration, this app does not work if you are trying to use an X2T transmitter on an iPhone 14 Pro. I can get the flash to trigger. But no matter what I do, I get the error “The current system does not support Bluetooth synchronization” every time I start the app.

The iPhone detected the X2T pretty quickly and paired without any problem, “ Test “ flash work also, but when Trying to take a picture, the phone flash fire first then the Godox V1 fire after the picture was taken, I tried using different group or setting, and same thing, please update this app, and post a tutorial on your YouTube channel, C’mon we are in 2022, hire the proper team to get the job done, Pro photo is a lot more expensive but it seem theirs works perfectly fine.

1 they never cared about android 
2 they never cared about making it work with the phone how they marketed it

The physical flash interface is hard to use (confusing menus and buttons), so I appreciate having the Bluetooth connection and app to use instead. It’s much more intuitive. I’d just love to see a more polished UI design for the app — it feels a bit unfinished.

I didn’t even realize their was an app for this light (VL300) after an entire year and looked at a YouTube video and was amazed at how easy it was to setup (after i figured out the password was 000000 😩) and it flows so flawless. Hope I can save some people frustration with the Bluetooth password: 000000. That said, sync with my phone (iPhone 8) is buggy as heck. Using camera app will get flash to fire but won’t sync properly and I have a seemingly random amount of the frame exposed.

Although GodoxPhoto app works on iPhone 12 Pro (iOS 14) with Godox X2T-N, the app camera triggers a flash, but apparently out of sync. So the app is useless for photos with this iPhone. Of course, what many of us really want is for the GodoxPhoto app to just trigger the X2T with ANY app camera (Apple’s or any of the other fine camera apps for iPhone). So close, yet so far.
