The best sudoku app ever
This app has helped me develop my skills to the next level. I was stuck at a hard level for years, now I understand the strategies and how to use note taking to help me solve the puzzle.

The game itself is great. The instructions are very helpful. I’m new to sudoku and it made it very easy to learn. My only real issue is that it doesn’t automatically sync to iCloud. You have to manually do it. It’d be nice if I could just easily switch between devices without having to sync every time.
It’s one of the best sudokus out there, the only issue I see is that the dailies are a bit annoying because everyone is getting impossible scores. There’s nothing to prevent someone from completing the same daily on another device and you can also manipulate your score by changing your device time (the time change can make someone have a perfect or impossible score). This can probably be fixed by changing the app to calculate time based on a stopwatch duration rather than timestamps from the device.
After clicking the “Show Me” button, the dialogue box to exit the tutorial appears too quickly and does not allow any time to review the steps that were done.
I think this is a fantastic app for playing various difficulties of sudoku and for learning the different techniques in sudoku. I don’t use any other app for playing sudoku after trying a handful of them. I have 2 things to improve user experience: 1) Night colors improvement: the text color for the previously selected menu option is usually black while on night mode. With the dark background, it makes it difficult to see the text when it changes to Black. Occasionally it is the correct color (readable on dark background) but it seems random when it works. 2) iPad mini orientation: the ability to have the game in landscape mode on an iPad mini would be awesome! I see the store pictures show it horizontal but when I play on my iPad mini 7 I am unable to play the game in landscape orientation
Clean UI, easy to use tools, and very clear technique tutorials. I’ve improved more in a couple weeks of this app than I have in years of paper puzzles. My only request would be a way to add a toggleable confirmation to the “undo” button like you have it for the hint button. I keep fat fingering “undo” when trying to exit a number focus and not knowing which cell I accidentally undid.
This app used to be rock solid. Now it crashes all the time. Please work on this. It’s such a great sudoku app.
Hi, my name is Sebastian William Descy! I can’t stop playing this game. I am getting really smart from playing this game. I just really love it, I could play Impossible level. These tools are very good. This is the best Sudoku game my dad ever played. Download Good Sudoku+ today. But please pay for Apple.
I never write reviews but Apple Arcade is worth it for this game alone. I wasn’t that into Sudoku before this but I’m now past level 2000 on the Expert puzzles (it’s tricky to do the next level “impossible” ones). If you thought Sudoku was simple, there is lots of strategy this app has taught me. Not sure what I’ll do when I run out of levels!!
This app tries to do it all. But it just reminds you of how broad the amazing game of sudoku can be. It tries to be everything to everyone and it mostly succeeds. At the expert level, the explanations of the different tricks is extremely succinct to the point of confusion many times. But those tricks can be pretty complex necessitating looking elsewhere. Even the tutorial can leave you scratching your head. But the tutorial/training has MANY examples that help a lot once you figure it out. I love the error correcting that doesn’t penalize you too much.
